Question about flushing and watering cycle.

Thanks sand, I just transplanted one that is only 18 days into flowering. It had roots all wrapped on the outside. I am confused, as I was told that I can keep them in 3 gallons until harvest. I was told to flush them every couple of weeks as well. fml...the only reason I ask questions is to...

Question about flushing and watering cycle.

Clearly I had salt build up, what else are you suppose to get rid of it? Flushing is vital when you're PH is out of whack or in this case, salt build up. I've experimented with 2 other plants and when I seen signs of cal/mag deficiency I gave them cal/mag...nothing happened. The problem got...

Question about flushing and watering cycle.

So I flushed 2 plants last night and 1 tonight. Weird thing happened tho....the PH level went up after flushing. I used 30 L's on the 2 last night and 40 L's on the one tonight. I tested the water run off at the start and the PPM was off the charts but the PH level's were normal, then I got the...

Question about flushing and watering cycle.

Thanks achaser87, ya I'm flushing right now. They are 2 weeks away from harvest, and they looks great just showing a little signs. Water everyday? Not a 3 day cycle and watering until there is run-off? How much do you give them everyday and how little nutes, and how big are the containers?

Question about flushing and watering cycle.

Hi all, thanks for your time. Now I heard a ton of things regarding these subjects. I wanted to know your opinion and what you found to work best. I use a soiless mix with vermiculite/perilte and peat moss. Now my question is what works better, a nute / water / nute / water cycle or give nutes...

    Darker Green Leaves?

Thanks guys, much love. It is too much N, I now know what to spot in the future. This is only my 2nd grow and still learning a ton. They aren't burnt, something I can correct easily, They've been in flowering for about 10 days now so I have switched to a flowering nutirent formula. I'll give...

    Darker Green Leaves?

Hi there, now I know that darker green means they are getting a bit too much nutrients. My question is do I want to just use pure PH water on next watering, and will they turn lighter (healthier) green? Or do I just look to new growth? As well, what do you guys think of one water with nutes...

Going from veg room to flowering room?

Exactly! I had 8 in there before with the RH around 45% and they did well. But having only 2 isn't enough and having gas heat is drying up my air. The last week I want to get my RH as low as possible (under 30%), helps with the resin glands and tightens the buds :) I think having the humidity...

Going from veg room to flowering room?

Oh as for heat, the lights are in air-cooled melon heads. And the canopy temp only reaches about 77-78, don't believe it's the heat at all.

Going from veg room to flowering room?

I just got back in and bought a humidifier, going to raise the humidity level to 50-55%. I really think that's what causing this. But the light difference had me thinking the other day as well. All-in-all I have a couple more plants I'll be putting in there in a couple of days, and I'll give...

Going from veg room to flowering room?

Ah so maybe I have too much air flow which is drying up the leaves quicker than they can transpire...very interesting, I do have a ton of air movement, you may be very correct on this. I'll decrease some fan and their speeds. Thanks Top. I'll keep you informed on how that turns out.

Classic case of N def? Pics Included

Potassium makes more sense thanks. They are in a soiless mix, and the plant they are growing from went nutty on me and a split off in a V, if you go to my profile and go to the thread I started you can see the entire plant (thread is called: What causes this?). As for watering I water we the...

Going from veg room to flowering room?

They are definately not being over watered, I'm not that new lol. Yes I pick up the pots and they are very light. Because of such dryness in the air and humidity being so low they dry up quicker. They are almost bone dry when i water, a 3 day water cycle is a great one.

Going from veg room to flowering room?

Hi and thanks for your quick response. I am using a soiless mix so it is not soil. As well I am using a 2 part nutrient that I switched from the veg to the flowering one when I switched rooms. I water every 3 days and water until drainage. The 2 pics under the CFL is one about to go into veg, as...

Going from veg room to flowering room?

So I just switched a couple plants from my veg room which I use CFL's, the temp is (at night) 68-70 and during day 75-77f. The RH or humidiity level in the veg room is 60-70%. Now my flowering room is 600 watt HPS and has awesome air movement and circulation. The temp is about the same as veg...

    What causes this? Pics Included

So I was just wondering what causes this. As you can see the plant decided to split off and make a V, which in turn, caused the plant to get confused and grow bad. It won't grow much and seems to want 3x the amount of nutes. So what caused this and should I just scrap it?

Much love and +rep for your response. I am setting it up 3ft above my pots, but I built it on adjustable poles on the 4 corners so that it may be adjusted if necessary ;)
