Sounds like you got everything you need. Were pretty much growing the same way cuzz i have the same types of cfl bulbs but for soil I got some organic soil that will keep the plant happy for like 3 weeks and then transplanting it when its better suited for some soil that contains more nutrients...

Dam thats fukn sick! Ima check those out when i go buy the bulbs i need. yo but will it the actinic light help get the stem thick and healthy, or just helps to keep it short?

Oh alright now that makes sense. I have another question what do you suggest for a germinated seed just planted in soil and hasnt sprouted. Will it need 24 hours of light or 18hrs. Im confused and dont want to plant the seed until I find out how much light is needed if any to help it sprout...

Do you mean less then 80 degrees or 80watt bulb?

Hey there peeps, I was wondering what are some good techniques to make one plant grown in a closet grow short and bushy. Space avaliable is 2x2 and atleast 5-6 feet high. Gotta keep it low key if you know what i mean.

So if i have one 65w daylight bulbl how far would the bulb have to be from the soil and the top of the plant? If I have four 100w replacements bulbs how many inches would those have to be from the seed or sprouting?

If I use a 65 watt output cfl bulb to start the seed at a distance of 4 to 5 inches will the seedling die out or burn. Or what would you recommend to start the seed and get it through the veg stage with a thick stem. Im confused i was about to start the seed with 4x23 watt daylight cfl bulbs...
