Some pics of the 3 saplings almost done with their 3rd week. Worried about those brown spots and the yellowing(which doesnt look so bad in the pics but those bottom leaves are very faded)......I think it was due to some extreme temps early on... 90's and high 80's for a few straight days in...

Thanks guys. Lights are about 18-20inches away. Might be too much fan as I was fighting some heat issues this week. I wont worry too much for now. haha

Saplings under 250w MH in happy frog. no nutes as of yet...only around the 3 week mark. Noticing yellowing start at the tips of the new leaves and the older leaves have faded to this yellowish/light green... Should i be concerned? Possible causes/solutions? Thanks!

I thought maybe the temps were off... I put my hand under the lamp equal distance as the saplings and it doesnt feel hot...even after 30 seconds. Will check the thermometer when I get home. Also, going to wire up a temperature sensor and data logger and toss it in there for a few days....*puts...

With the tent open all night and the fan and overnight temps in the low 50s or cooler outside it was still 88 degrees under the lights this morning at 8:15am. UGH!

Had the tent open with a fan inside trying to exhaust the heat for a few hours. Just checked and its still at 89. Attempting to pull some outdoor air in right now... thats in the 60s. What type of fan/exhaust system would you guys reccommend? I feel like this is only going to get worse in the...

Thanks guys. Working on getting the temp under control now... its back in the 80s but still too close to 90. Been shooting for 85 but its been closer to 86/87 these days...until the 103 degrees of today. Ill try to get it down lower than 85.

Hey, I have 3 fem'd red dragon saplings in a 2' x 2' x 5' grow tent under a 250w MH. Soil is happy frog. Watering without nutes right now. As they are growing I am noticing that the green in the leaves is not uniform. Its darker towards the center and speckles to a lighter green at the tips...

Im using 250w MH...(lost my grow journal in the recent site crash..will try and get it back up this week) Soil is Happy Frog. Will lower the lights to 20in.. Was hesitant to because of the warmer temps...Didnt want to fry them.

Howdy. Here's three fem'd red dragon saplings. I havent been able to keep it at 85 exactly... been hovering between 86 and 89. Because of that I have the lights about 30 or so inches away..maybe a bit less. Think it's ok to bring the light closer? Also, I haven't started any nutes yet...
