It's more of a personal choice if you ask me. I don't really mind the dank lookin frosty leaves, and if you don't plan on keeping it for yourself it adds a little weight.

It could be 3 years old and as long as it isn't moldy it's safe to smoke. As long as it's stored the right conditions you'd be surprised how long it will actually last.

What racerboy said, your yield can be affected by many different things. Sativas do get bigger than indicas, but indicas are usually denser so it kinda evens out. The bigger the plant, the larger the yield.

It takes about $1500 + to get a decent studio started from scratch, it all really depends on what you have now and what you can get for cheap. For example i scored my kiln for free and already had 2 oxy bottles, regulators and my ventilation fan. That right there saved me almost $1000+ lol Also...
