I sampled a small semi-dry nug. The high was exactly like the strain description. Except the smell and taste was more like sweet hash and burnt rubber. It was very frosty. I'll get some close up pics once that cola is off the drying rack.

Certain sativas work for me. Sugar Punch, by Sannie, in parituclar. Because when I wake up and can't fall back asleep my mind is too active. The head high calms that down and I go back to sleep. Indicas just make me want to get up and do stuff. Everyone's different so experimentation is good.

I use a similar method: 1) handful of buds in coffee grinder 2) set oven to 220 F (i have a cheap thermometer for accuracy) 3) put in pan with equal amount of butter (or better yet clarify the butter first) 3) cook for 3-4 hours with tight lid. About one gram of kick ass bud keeps me stoned...

A dehydrator works well if you dry it half way at 95F or less, and then cure it in a jar. You just don't want to leave it in there too long. I put mine on the bottom tray and block most of the air. Its pretty much sitting in hot, dry space with some air flow.

Here it is dry. Picked three colas at 8 weeks. Super stoney. Tastes like pine trees. Can't wait for it to cure. The rest is going to flower for another week or two.

I brew kombucha tea, which is yeast and bacteria, in a 3 gallon container (it's a ceramic dispenser for 5 gal water bottles). The method I use is "continuous" so all I have to do is drain the kombucha and add tea with sugar every two weeks or so. The kombucha culture is a weird jello like...
