forgot badass ballast but it has a fan...

u could consider: phantom, solis-tek, lumatek, quantum, nexgen, galaxy... the nexgen and the quantum have fans. Im not a fan of fans.

looks cool to me, its a china no-brand name ballast. if anything goes wrong u may not be able to do anything about it tho... if ur looking for cheap try HTG... they at least will honor warranty. -pj

It definitely depends on your spacing. with a 3x3 room... i think the 600 would be fine.. just have it raised a bit higher, bc obviously it creates a bit more heat. make sure it doesnt burn the tops! also... like they said 600W will make more penetration, meaning it will go down further into...

I run 6 of them, and the Ignition Control feature is HUGE!! check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uw3dlCBxEVY The lights will fire 1 at a time, with soft starting.. my electrician loves it, its the most well designed and efficient ballast on the market, i think u guys should check them...

if you had a dimmable ballast you may dim the setting down during heat waves so save on electric and also decrease heat. i recommend SolisTek digital ballast because they have ignition control features. i run 6 of these in my grow, best ballast i have used hands down. and no i am no rep for...
