hey bro, for SCROG, you veg it into the mesh, then continue to keep it tied down or tucked back under the mesh. you continue this until the plant stop growing and focuses energy to growing buds. once buds pop up the plant will stop stretching and you do ur own thing

i cut the top part of the plant off after about 1 week of vegging with established roots, or after 5 nodes. it focuses energy into the bottom branches

hey bro dont cut those leaves!! the plant uses those leafs to make food for the buds, so cutting them would be taking steps back. Dont worry the bud sites do not need DIRECT light, they can get what they need thru fan leafs
