if your setting up an ebb and flow i would have used the hydroton clay pelllets before the rockwool...rockwool is junk in my opinion...i agree with solarguy, you are gonna have a huge heat issue with a 1k light in that space...will need good draw on your cabinet or get a cool tube they are like...
