How much will I Yield with this setup

Very easy to get nearly 1.5 grams per watt? Most growers never even break half that. Cloud, what is the the size of the growing space?

    HPS vs. Fluorescent advice needed.

Gastanker you make some good points. But I wonder about this detail. When a bulb's lumens are rated, my understanding is that they're rating the total amount of emitted light. With a MH or HPS bulb, two inches from the bulb is just a few inches from where *all* the light is emitted. With a T5 or...

    HPS vs. Fluorescent advice needed.

Do they have any evidence that their claims are true? Unless some new technology has come out that has made fluorescents much more efficient than they currently are(were), they're lying. The amazon link has T5s that are a tad less than 100 lumens per watt. Which is pretty decent. (best CFLs are...

    Not 100% lightproof material.

I have no idea if it's okay like that or not. To be cautious I would add a 2nd outside layer if possible. If you were to replace the material, try poly film. It's not too expensive. It's like a plastic, with one side black and the other side white. Very reflective, tough enough, easy to handle...

    CO2 and CFL's

I don't know but I would assume people would say that because generally CFL grows are limited by other factors, making CO2 less useful. If your grow is pretty well dialed in I suppose why not give CO2 a shot? Let us know your results! :D

    heating a 12x6 room?

I wasn't trying to bash them. I've seen a number of grow threads showing LEDs matching or beating the same wattage HPS. Just pointing out that a watt is a watt of heat, regardless of what bulb type it is. Just trying to help people and clear up a common misconception. I hope your grow does well...

rzza maybe try using caps lock? I've done that once where I accidentally set my password with caps lock on. Lucifer, great program!

    600 hps 3 plants yield??

Wild guess, 150 to 500 grams dry. There are so many variables. What's the point of measuring wet weight? Dry weight will be just a fraction of that (if it's properly dried...)

    heating a 12x6 room?

Just google "BTU per watt hour". You'll get hundreds if not thousands of sources saying that 1 watt hour of electricity generates 3.4 BTU of heat. Yes they might generate less heat in the creation of light, but the light simply turns back into heat when it's absorbed. If the light didn't...

    heating a 12x6 room?

How could it not? If it uses the same amount of electricity. Light energy converts to heat. One watt creates 3.4 BTUs per hour. It doesn't matter if the wattage is used for a HPS, LED, TV, space heater, etc etc.. All of you who are saying LEDs produce less heat, do you have any evidence for...

Is it okay to use one neutral wire for two separate circuits? And one ground for two circuits? What sort of timers would you use?

Do you have any evidence for this? It doesn't sound scientifically possible.

    Very small grow room

Try a short bushy indica strain and train it with something like LST or a SCROG. You'll need some steady ventilation. For lighting, I'd recommend something like this https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/290509-power-strip-cfl-fixture-need.html

    heating a 12x6 room?

Lights produce heat. The amount of wattage determines the amount of heat. 400 watts of LED produces almost the same heat as a 400 watt HPS (the HPS may produce a little more due to extra wattage used by the ballast) Could you run the veg room 24/0 and vent it to the flower room? Or perhaps two...

    Phresh Filters VS. Can-Filters ?

If can filters have less carbon surface area, (at least per mass of carbon compared to Phresh) how does that make them better? The supposed selling point of Phresh is their carbon is more broken down and has more surface area than the uneconomical large chunky carbon of other brands. Anyway...

    Need an electrician's advice

For a 240 volt circuit, try something like an Intermatic T104.http://www.intermatic.com/products/timers/mechanical%20time%20switches/24%20hour%20dial.aspx

30 amp dryer outlet, electrian help needed

I don't know anything about electricity.... but... the MLC-4XT has a 120 volt trigger to plug into a timer to run the relay. As far as I'm aware, it's not proper / to code to use a 3 wire 30 amp line when running anything 120 volts. All the commercial light controllers seem to do this though...

Poll: Worst Strain of the Year Vote

I'd only get strains that have had a lot of reviews done on them already. Buying new untested strains seems almost like using bagseed.
