They are full of shit. I am a life long Virginian. They might have found one jackass that didn't know better. The real avg. Price for top-shelf is 300-500 an ounce. At 500 bucks it needs to be that life changing shit.
It can be cut now. Another week might thicken it up a little more but not enough to make much difference in yield. It has been my experience that the breeder always estimates the finish time on the short side. Fast bud is a selling point. I have had lots of luck going 1-3 weeks longer than they say.
I find it is more potent and better tasting at the 70 day mark. I start counting from the day the break soil and show green. That being said I have taken them as early as 55 days and it was still better than most commercial weed.
I have had pretty good results with one and a half gallon containers as well as one gallon. Personally I have never used anything above two gallons and have usually had much better yields than the strains advertised average. Here are a couple of pics of my current batch of Blue Himalayan...
Check out this little 20 day old monster. It is a blue himalayan diesel grown under 20/4 CFLs in a hempy/DWC hybrid.
I started out with a hempy style grow in perlite and added a 4 inch air stone to the mix. I also moved the hole up to create a deeper water table.
Here is my overdue update. I am starting to get a little bushiness back around the house. They seem to be digging the hempy/hydro method I am using as you can tell by the difference in them from my last update.
I don't have a link to anything, it is something I kind of figured on my own. I have a more detailed thread called "the dummy's cabinet" on autoflower.net. I can answer any specific questions you have. My setup is very easy to put together I worked with stuff from the dollar store and wal-mart...
I haven't posted on this site in a while since joining another dedicated to autos. I have a mix of blue himalayan diesels, tuttie frutties, mystery midgets, and a sour diesel haze male for pollen collection. about a month ago I had to scrap everything I had to get rid of the terminator of pests...
I am back after a many problems around the garden and home. My computer crashed and my garden was over run by the terminator of pests, muthafuckin thrips. I have stated from scratch with a small hydro set up and a fresh batch of sterile soil.
I am glad that you guys kept this thread up while...
Good day to you sirs. I haven't been posting much lately but I aim to change that. Here is my auto grow cabinet and all the little sprouts coming up as well as 3 stunted shortstuff autos that are about a month old. The SDH is short for sour diesel haze and BHD is blue himalayan diesel.
That is a nice looking little patch you got there. I would try to tie the tall one over now because by looking at it it will get taller if you don't. This was the one I had to tie down
