I have been doing better than an ounce on most. I have gotten up two and a quarter oz. I have had some leaves turn purplish and yellow in late flower but not so much during the the beginning.
Seems like a few have had problems with the auto genetics being what they were billed as. Sucks to try something and it ends up being the same old or worse. I was fortunate and picked a winner from the beginning of my auto experiment. Short Stuff seeds have been exactly what they were billed as...
I am sold on the short stuff as well. I picked the twenty seed mix and ten blue himalayan diesels after that. they have all been healthy full plants that grew like they were supposed to. these were just a couple of them. I have been told by the breeder that the flash seeds are his line as well.
Here are the pics from yesterday. I will start with the blues.
I have plucked a few of the easy to get to ripe seeds off of them. I will have hundreds of seeds when it's all said and done. Number 5 is the only one that will be seedless.
I also have a few of my mystery midgets started...
Sorry about the long absence. I will get some pics today. I have snipped a bud here and there on a couple but they are still pretty looking pretty full.
The only reason to go on 18/6 is the cost of use. The difference in yield between 24/0 and 18/6 is not worth the extra kilowatt hours on your bill. I am on 24/0 in my space now but I will be moving into a cabinet and on a timer when it starts to get hot outside.
I will definitely look into that one adam. As for sexing a plant pre 12/12 look into covering one branch for 12 hours with something like a paper bag. I have read somewhere that the covered branch will flower. I am not sure about the particulars but I have seen it a couple of places online
The breeder recommends 20/4. I am just haven't gotten another timer since the last one burnt up. Correction I have another one but you have to a god dam computer programmer to get it working and I worry that it will burn up too.
you can probably even switch to 12/12 in the last week or two of the autos life without messing with the yield to much as the buds are already set and in the process of ripening.
