Real simple, days get shorter, outdoor plants sense it and begin to flower. Depending on the strain they'll finish from late august to early October ( at least here in sunny California).

If you see any male pollen sacks and your girls are budding, you got seeds.

You're in the early stages of nutrient lock. Cut back on the nitrogen and most importantly, check the ph of your water. It should be around 6.3, it's probably much higher. High ph will cause nute-lock every time.

If it's a fast flowering indo, you should be ok.

Naaah, that's not going to happen. At worst it might sprout a couple of male flowers. If that happens gently pick them off before they open. Don't give up.

How many hours of direct sunlight does it get? You need at least 5. Ph becomes even more critical during flowering. If I were you, I'd get a ph meter and get that water to about 6.3ph, you already have the sunlight problem, keeping the ph at 6.3 will help increase the yield/quality.

Maybe. If the new leaves "rams horn" , than the light change (days getting longer after the plant starts flowering) is confusing the plant. Basically, it will start to re-veg then realize the days are getting shorter and start to flower. Veg-flower-veg-flower...thus the confusion and "rams...

Put a drop of superthrive per gallon of water for a couple of weeks, that'll help mitigate any shock from topping it.

I have both strains growing in my greenhouse in socal. Looks like a sativa dominant X indo. I'm curious if anyone is familiar with these strains. They're barely showing flowers at 9 to 10 feet tall. (all female now w/ some surprisingly late showing males that mock female...
