http://imgur.com/a/jJVAs Here's some info about my grow. Please ask for any additional info. They're 1 week old seedlings in a 60/40 perlite and vermiculite mix. I switch between a 400 watt hps which stays 2 feet above them and the 26 watt cfls you see in my pics. Temps range from 76-85...

So, I've got 6 2 week old seedlings. They're only a couple inches tall due to heat issues. I haven't kept them to a normal light/dark schedule for at least a week out of the last two. Sometimes I'll give em 24 hours of light, then a couple days of dark. Will they hermie in flower? Should I scrap...

So I started growing some seeds at 12/12. It's been 3-4 days and they all range from 1/2" to 2". Can I switch to 18/6 or is it too late?

I plan on hanging both from my closet's ceiling. I have a growbright 6" fan and a light with a maxwing reflector. Do I need to use drywall anchors or just regular screws? And, does anyone know what sizes I need? Thanks.

Dimensions of my closet are: L- 55.25" (4.6 ft) H- 96" (8 ft) W- 26.75"(2.23 ft) My door is black and white poly, and I plan on cutting a 6" hole on the top for my inline fan. But, I dunno what to do for a light-proof intake. Any ideas?

to cool the light. you're probably right. i should go with the 600 and the 6". 400 would be less than 50 watts per sq foot anyway.

i tried cfls before. my plants grew too slow, and i didn't like splicing wires and extension cords.

600 isn't overkill for that kinda space? would i have to use a cooltube?
