History: Growing Papaya. Plants are 4 weeks old. Under 400 watt light (6-12 inches from light) Soil is FFOF Water is typically every 4 days... 500 to 900 ml Problem Droopy leaves on several plants. Any idea? pics attached...

thanks for the help sputniknz: the water I use is at 72 degrees... I am pretty sure it is a nute burn from FFOF... it's just too much for the seedling...

No... temps are very stable... lights are on 24/7 and it's about 80-82 degrees

Were they yellowing before you transplanted? No they weren't... What is the watering schedule? I water once a day with RO water. Do you know the PPM and pH of your water? I don't know the PPM or pH of the water I think it's nute burn... (from the soil and too much water)

Would a mild mixture of power thrive (B1 and kelp seaweed) and Bionova 27% liquid nitrogen to seedlings that are 1 week old in FFOF be safe?

fed with liquid budswel today. 3 tablespoons to 3.3 gals of water. Didn't mix with any ferts -- wasn't sure if I was supposed to. Flowering is evident all over plants. Just trying to keep the ladies alive as their problems persist.

Any idea what this could be? is it a burn, deficiency? it seems to be getting worse on all my plants...

watered with full strength GIG and little more than half strength FP. Yellowing on lower fan leaves seems to have slowed down. Rust spots are now a major problem and two plants are now yellowing on top.

Watered for the first time today with half strength Flower Power -- and full strength GIG.

simplyBaked: I really screwed them up the last week or so when they turned yellow. I had to cut many large fan leaves off the plant. I'm a little nervous being in flowering now... also they have very little scent thus far.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but overwatering typically occurs from giving too much water over a short period of time -- e.g., watering everyday, rather than giving them too much at once. Assuming you have well draining soil.

Any idea? From my memory, I believe the spots started showing a couple days after I gave some nutes... then I layed off the nutes and my bottom fan leaves turned yellow...

Started flowering today. Watered with SPT.

thanks dog... I had to cut off a lot of yellow leaves. Also, I am going to start flowering tomorrow; they are getting tall... Pics soon...

Watered yesterday with plain water. Today I noticed significant yellowing on the plants, so I re-watered today with some cal-mag and GIG... will update with pics, soon.
