i hv done DWC for some years & all you have to worry is that there are enough air stones in the bucket so the roots can live. you will get the roots covering the whole floor of the bucket & as long as the airstones are working you hv no problem at all...

HI 3x3x6=54 & not 52 :-) but to your heat problem. I have had similar difficulties and solved it with "glass tubes (150mm dia) the bulbs mounted inside. A quiet fan sucking all the hot air out and a 150mm hole in the floor to suck the cold air in - CO2 will not get your temps down bud cagey
