Yeh, go get a Compact Fluorescent Light bulb. They're the new energy efficient ones everyone's getting. ***MAKE SURE IT SAYS DAYLIGHT*** it will also say something like 6500k on it. anything above 5000k is ok for vegging.

Yeh, so how should I go about flushing my plants to get rid of most of the nutes? Let some water sit out overnight, then let it run through the soil?

just be patient. what kind of lighting are you using, and how far away do you keep them?

1. add dirt up to those first leaves. 2. what kind of lights are you using? (get them closer)

i dont use nutes, i'm almost sure it's the mg. i didnt realize it had nutes in it when i bought it. 21-7-14. is it possible to flush mg?

so what's wrong? running out of room?

I use water out of my fish tank, so it has nitrates and the ph is perfect.

you have two plants in the same bucket? not an expert but i think that's a no no, even though 10 gal is pretty big. What ratio of nutes/water did you use?

yeh i thought it didnt when i bought it, but turns out it does, guess i should learn how to read. 3 month time release 21-7-14 and by layered i mean like a few inches each. not mixed together i tried to grow some herbs in the cheap potting soil and they only got about an inch tall and stopped...

Anybody know what's happening? It could be lots of things. I used about half mg and half cheap potting soil. layered. I water them when they start to droop. 24 lighting 4 4' 40wfluorescent tubes the two smaller plants (not pictured) are doing fine(under cfl's)

yeh, but why would they grow slower?
