ok, is it true that there is a way to recognize a nutrient lockout by checking the runoff ph. For instance, if i run 7.0 ph'd water through the plant and the runoff has a higher ph then there is a problem? If so, does that mean if the ph raises its over ferted and lowers there is a lockout? And...

I checked that link which was very informative but after inspecting the soil and leaves i did not see any bugs period. That leads me to believe its something else like nutes or stress and too wet of soil or all of the above. Any other ideas?

My tap water reads at 118ppm and im wondering if after nutrients are added and im going for 800ppm should i have 918ppm or just go to 800ppm on the meter? Also, do you think its still beneficial to let the water sit out for 24 hrs w/ the tap water only at 118ppm to get rid of the chlorine or...

1 more thing... the water ive been using stays pretty cold. the room it sits in gets down to 60 at night. i let h2o sit 1-2 days before adding to plants. could the cold water cause a reaction like this?

OK, so im gonna water w/ 1/4 strength nutes tommorow and then watch to see if it gets better or worse. i'll post my results if anyone wants to see the outcome. thanks for all of your suggestions!

oh, thanks...so no flush just go with 1/4 nutes for next water. Now the tips have shown slight yellowing tips and the leaves effected w/ the purple color are or are beginning to curl under. would that change opinion? Thanks again

Thanks, the purple ones dont appear to turn yellow after. some yellow leaves seemed to take on some of the purple, but just a few. Do you think i should flush or just keep watering as normal?

Would flushing be a bad idea just in case its nutes or more harmeful?

Thanks man! weve been using a fairly strong nute program, maybe even more than normal. Im guessing not def unless caused by a lockout from toxicity. Also was wondering about cold air but i guess its hard to tell. thanks
