You could compost inside but you need the outside bacteria and micro critters to do the decay work. Inviting them into your place might not be good for your health. I'm not sure if any of it is toxic but we are talking about fungi, protozoa,bacteria, nematodes, yeasts, worms and other macros...

Soda is full of sugar, it increases bio activity which increases plant nutrients, and both have water in them....A common organic soil ammendment is molasses which is similar to corn syrup in sodas. Too much of it will kill some plants.
