No idea, it was 3 year old badseed. :) I predried a bud and got frickin' fried though. Next batch will be Alaskan Ice. Huge THC numbers in it.

    need nutes!

I use a basic Garden Pro 20-20-20 mixture and I also use Cal-Max for the micro's that isn't normally in plant ferts. Start with about half of what they recommend until your plants can adjust to it. Also make sure your pH is correct or you'll get build ups because your plant won't be able to use...

    Harvest Time??? w/pics

A month, nah man way too long. I've read that when about 70 to 80% of the pistols turn brown, it's ready to go and they're around 55 to 65% now.

    Harvest Time??? w/pics

Do you guys think it's harvest time yet? It seems to be extremely close but I wanted another opinion because it's my first ever grow and I started with a bunch of CFL's but switched to a 400W HPS about a week after flowering. I started in a computer case and moved to a closet but I used peat...

    Question about pH flushing.

Do it while it's dry I guess too eh? How would you replant roots without damaging them though? Also, do you grow in the ground or with a soil mixture? If a mixture, what's it composed of? Also what about the lime idea?

    QUICK growing strains???

I can't really help you too much here because I'm fairly new at this but I've noticed that on a lot of the online sites that sell seeds, they give you time frames on each type they sell. Hope this helps.

    Question about pH flushing.

It's in a 6L pot now and I would have to replant 6 L of the current soil into a new soil. Would that even make a difference overall? How about something like adding lime to the soil about a cm under the surface and as I water it, wouldn't the lime seep into the soil? I'm thinking about...

    Question about pH flushing.

Yeah, that's good to know but the plant is already about a foot tall and in soil so what I need to know is how could I go about raising it?

    Question about pH flushing.

The soil I'm using is a combination of Peat Moss, Worm Castings and Perlite. I started Nutes about a week ago, half strength. I've been testing the water I've been using and it's between 7.5 - 8 and the soil run off is around 4.5 - 5. I went and bought a bottle of pH up and added it to a lot of...

does a male grow faster than a female ???

I planted 2 plants at the same time and the male was twice the size of the other plant when it started to flower...I threw it in the garbage when I noticed and I am hoping the 2nd is a nice lady.

    Males?

Thanks man, I'll probably just chuck it out but a part of me will die with it. :-(

    Males?

I thought so....Doh!!! Hopefully I caught it in time. I don't know how it flowered though because it's still on an 18/6 light cycle. I have been reducing the light cycle over a week or so from 24/0 to 22/2 to 20/4 and finally 18/6. I've heard that it could've caused the flowering too. Is it...

How much baking soda would you use? I will buy some pH Up on Tuesday but I wouldn't mind getting a jump on it.

    pH question...

My water is measuring around 7.5 and then when I measure the water draining out of the soil after watering, it's around 5.0...So does this mean that the actual pH of the soil is less than 5.0. That's not good so is there a cheap, easy way to raise the pH to where it's supposed to be? Any help...

    drooping and discolored leaves

Not 100% if this is the cause but your pH has to come up in the high 6 range for soil and not sure about aerogardens. It would keep a lot of the nutes from getting into the plant but I'm not sure about the spray you used.

    Check these little ones out!

If you're getting light leaks in the flowering room, try replacing the source of the light leaks with green light bulbs. These will not cause the plants to "wake up" from their darkness time. I hope the light leaks aren't from your grow lights.

    Do these look healthy?

Sweet, thanks a lot people. I appreciate the feedback. I will check for mites for sure. Does anyone know if ants would mess with pot plants? I see a random ant every week or two. I will be overhauling the grow room soon too for better smell control and better air circulation, wiring, etc...
