in the beginning use either 24/0 or 18/6 light cycle....24 hours of light and 0 hours darkness or 18 hours of light and 6 hours of dark...i recently changed to 18/6 myself so if that what u been doing stick with it!!! dont use nutes for a couple weeks until at least 4 inches or more...if grow...

actually go for the 26 watt 6500k bulbs.....i got a couple of the 42 watt cfl's from wal-mart and they are okay but the light is really red from them...you would be better off getting the 2 pack of 26 watt 6500k bulbs for the vegetative and using the 42 watt bulbs for flowering

just out of curiousity,what cycle are you using? 24/0 or 18/6???

think im going to change from a 24/0 cycle to a 18/6 cycle,will cause any harm in doing it since ive been 24/0?? what do you guys think?

Ok a little bit of good news finally, i got the light i found in my shed working and it seems to be doing ok so I added it into the grow area...I've been trying to find out how many lumens it is producing but the info isnt that easy to uncover; but on a website i believe it said somewhere around...

I was fooling around in the shed today and a stroke of genius hit me as i gazed upwards and spied this hanging from above, it seems to have (2) 40w bulbs which would be a welcome addition to my 15w mini tube LOL What do you guys think about my find? im not to sure how i would wire it up safely...
