well my hygro read 45f but nothing higher than 71.5f i have a aquarium heater and all the kit to do a nft. is it safe to put the pots in a nft with some clay pebbles or will it just wash the soil out? plus all my newts are for soil were having a real cold snap for the middle of spring

im having a major temp problem with my girls. there in soil andmy heat mat is f**ked i have an nft laying around and a large tub. i was thinking about putting the pots in the nft and runing heated water pass the base. can any1 see a problem with this. please help a.s.a.p please please...

good question dbo im in the same situation i have loads of them buckets sitting around my house and i am doing the same set up at you. iv grown on soil but never hydro so my questions are 1) is there special hydro newts that you buy. 2) would i be better of putting 2 plants in the 1 bucket...
