Call me hi(cause i am) but this IS genius! My only add on idea would be to find out your plants chloroplast opening times, as this would be another way of maximizing the light used. With these plants everything is about timing. The chloroplasts aren't open 24/7, but at alternating points...

I have several other msgs for when you have time, but as long as i use the right light frequency(6500k veg, 3000k bud) and get enough lumens, flouresant lights can be used right? just checkin cause at this site i kno they are pretty cheap.
