18hrs of light a day is good for veg.. you could run 24/7 but its good to turn the lights off for atleast an hour let them rest/cool off.

You could pile some more soil up around the base of the stem to help support them..try and keep light as close as possible and they should thicken up. do you have a fan blowing on them?

flat white is about 80% reflective. mylar is about 95%

glossy white paint it actually less reflective than flat white... Mylar is better than flat white!
