I think you are right, although I did run no nutrients and had them vegging in the FFOF And HF mix with lime for a long time maybe 2ish months so there def was little food left in the medium. And I only fed with liquid maybe 5-6 times

i havnt checked the run off only PH only PPM.. i only mixed gaia into the coco once and the runoff at times was 4000+.. i barley used any half the rec amount also... now the run off is around 400ish

i only been watering them with pure distilled un PH water.. and everything was fine.. when i flushed i PH the water to 5.5
