Never tried them, I've done photos before and got good results, they can turn into monsters in a greenhouse, normally I get about an Oz off each auto even with losing some to bud rot

Hit and miss in a green house, bud rot does a lot of damage, so you either have to harvest a bit early or lose a good chunk of buds cutting it off

I gave my mate 3 gorilla glue auto last year and they turned out great, better than anything I grew in my greenhouse. They never even got any mold were mine were plagued with it.i decided to ditch those seeds I got and ordered some from real gorilla seeds, seemingly their strains are suited for...

Well gentlemen another outdoor season begins :D Quick question, I bought autoflower seeds this year in bulk, thing is I've germinated about 16 and the germination rate is poor and they seem a bit stunted in growth. Do suppliers just use the bulk option to get rid of bad quality seeds?

I had serious issues with bud rot this year, ended up chopping a few early, greenhouse is great as you can grow some big plants, more protected from the elements but still doesn't stop the fecking bud rot, in fairness it was a shit summer with rain and high humidity

Would the humidity outside the jar make a difference? Or does it depend on how moist the weed is going in? Ha that guerilla glue was a pain in the hole too, gunked up 2 scissors, can see were it gets its name from

You going to run the same strains again after that? I'm guessing I've 4-5 weeks, no sign of the dreaded bud rot yet, yeah I'm going to pull them, don't know what caused it, putting it down to fusarium wilt, haven't seen it spreading though. Yeah I'm guessing the humid conditions are something to...

Nice man, what strain? I'm reckoning mine will be ready in another 4-5 weeks, still struggling to get the hang of the drying and curing, how dry should they be before going into jars? I notice when I first put it in jars the hygrometer is reading 79%-80%,does that mean it's still too wet and to...

No worries man, it's an absolute ball ache when you put a lot of time into your plants, they look and smell great and then you notice a grey, fuzzy mould on one of the buds. I had to chop 4 this year a bit early because of it, I'm just hoping the last ones will be OK, they're photo periods

I wouldn't just yet, it's only a small bit. I've read if you cut off the infected bit and apply isopropyl alcohol to the cut part, don't know how true this is, as long as the remaining buds don't have mould on them they should be OK, though it can still spread while drying, if you have a small...

    The Irish Growers Thread!

It seems a lot of us outdoor growers were hit bad with bud rot this year, I lost a lot to it, one it sets in its hard to stop it, a fan or airflow helps but it's normally around the top cola were you get it, especially at the back of the buds near the main stalk, so you don't really see it until...
