    Saggy yellow leaves

Test the runoff water with pH drops. RO water is rather unstable in pH because it is stripped of Calcium and mineral deposits. My guess with the limited info on what you are using for soil medium, is that your soil has soured and that the runoff will be rather low. The acidic soil and possibly...

    Leaves yellowing

Two possibilities! Its just fall color, for now. I cut back on nutrients at this stage and instead focus mainly on watering with a Magnesium Sulfate like Fulvex, but again in light concentration. Watch the Trichomes as the leaves should finish a smooth faded yellow color on a strain like that...

    What's going on here?!

That is salt toxicity combined with too high a concentration of Calcium causing Magnesium lockout. Flush and try balancing your nutrients to the tone of a lot less and should be ok. Those are however the first signs of total loss so flush right away!

first time grower need some advice an answers from seasoned grower

The darker almost starting to get tough looking fan leaves are indication you had a compound problem with too low of soil temps, causing slow E/T (evaporation/transpiration) which led to slight souring of the soil and nutrient lockout. As far as what size pots to plant in... completely depends...

first time grower need some advice an answers from seasoned grower

Simple case of starting out with possibly a little too much root space initially and too low a pH in your soil. Too much root space can cause the soil to dry out too slow and become slightly sour (low pH) Fox farm soils are awesome and I use them as well, but as additives. FF soils start with a...

    Idk what im doing wrong

You will want to buy an inside outside thermometer and insert the probe halfway down the soil line in the worst performing pot. Soil temps should never go below 68 as everything starts to move at snails pace below that temperature. Below 62 degrees and complete nutrient lockout can occur. Try...

    What’s wrong with my girls

Your pH is probably low due to slightly acidic soil that’s being over fed causing Mag lockout. Check the pH of your runoff water out the bottom of your pots when you irrigate. Other than that we need a lot more info to judge wether your soil and fertilizer program is balanced

The name is ChronicHydro and i'm happy to say that I started my 1st grow experience.

Yes I loath pH pens and probes for the most part! I went back to old school General Hydroponics pH drops, because unless you are mixing a huge reservoir that you need to monitor on the regular, pH pens are useless to small time hobbyists (my opinion). With Coco Coir you should be pretty much...

First Grow - advice and tips appreciated

Whoa now you guys slow down and please don’t mislead somebody into thinking CO2 is a waste of time?! Yes indoor CO2 levels can increase a bit under three main situations...1 overcrowded living space with a lot of people (can increase levels to between 1000-1500 ppm), 2 Certain Air Conditioning...

Why is one of my plants growing slow and not looking to good

Plants from seed differ in Vigor immensely! If nothing is different between the two as far as care, then I would guess you are simply seeing the difference in genetic expression.

Oh sorry, they will bloom on their own in that case, no worries! CO2 outdoors is set around 300 to 500 ppm, while indoors can be quite low at 50 to 150 ppm. The low CO2 levels cause photosynthesis to slow down quite a bit as the plant struggles to breathe. With the proper amount of additional...

Looks Good! Are you adding CO2?? That may speed things up a bit more for ya! Oh and think about initiating the bloom before they get to tall for your tent!

Just bought weed riddled with bugs

Sounds like Spider mites! Won’t hurt you any but will alter the flavor a bit and make your buds crackle when smoked! I boycott dispensaries for a month or two when I find that, because I wouldn’t buy flowers from a garden center with bugs either! Makes me shake my head and ask why they would...

Are these normal at 3 weeks 600 w led ?

They look tight and bushy, good job! I would get those switched over to bloom right away (unless you want 6’ tall plants that is) and concentrate on basic pruning, cleaning up and removing lower and any branches that won’t receive light penetration. Based on their start, they should finish short...

I would like to apologize for a slight discrepancy in the amount of Lime and Gypsum to use! You are adding it Only for long term pH stability, and macros! You are Not adding it to alter pH! I have never had to add more than half a Tablespoon of each to 5 gallons soil mix and do Not recommend...

P.S. a pH pen if it’s reliable is amazing, however really meant for constant observation of nutrient reservoirs. I find them a bit exspensive for a hobby soil farmer.
