Try the sea of green approach and dont flip into flower until the 4x4 canopy is filled up. Top early on and use a trellis net to separate your tops.

I've witnessed the same thing. To combat this I trim the top buds off when they are ready and let those bottom buds grow for another week. It helps densen up some of what would be larf

naw it means to go through something. I have the same dense canopy in my 4x4 as my 5x5 barely any light gets through the bottom of my canopy underneath the slim 600 how ever underneath the optic 8 the canopy has way better lighting coming through the canopy because the cobs do a better job at...

They do, my optic 8+ does a better job at light penetration then my slim 600 but the slim produce a more uniform spread of light
