    Dying goldfish

Yeah, I obviously took for granted that she changes her water regularly, but then, she also thinks airstones don't need to be connected to a pump, so maybe I was being too generous in assuming that of her lol

    Dying goldfish

I suggest dipping your airstones in liquid steroids, but not connecting them to a pump. The stones magically produce their own air when they come in contact with water n steroids, your fish will absorb this and become super huge and fierce.

    Dying goldfish

Ever since I've been doing hydro bro, I have 2 goldfish and a turtle currently swimming around in my bucket for increased aeration LOLz

    Dying goldfish

Lol yeah, she definitely is. If it were me, I'd be like "thanks dude, I'll go buy a pump". I actually even told my gf to offer her a new in-the-box pump I never opened, but obviously I have no clue what I'm talking about lol

    Dying goldfish

So my girlfriend is talking to her friend on Facebook, and she says her goldfish is dying. I ask her what type of tank her friend has, and she says it's in a bowl, shows me a photo. Apparently the water is slimy and the fish is hardly swims around anymore. My first thought: does she have an...

Haha yeah. First time using them, seems to be doing the trick, although I'll probs move over to the Raw Solubles after this grow to see if they're any good. You used A.N. before then I take it?

I could also probably be doing the same with less, and could probably be doing the same with 2-300ppm more. As you know, not only does it depend on environment, but also on strain, phenotype... hell, it's plant specific tbh. I know when it's too much, but right now, they're loving it. However...

I somewhat disagree. My 50l DWC setup (one plant) is currently at 1400-1500ppm. Plant is doing great, in every sense of the word.

That's fine mate. It won't necessarily hurt your plant, but that doesn't mean it's optimal for development. You will still produce awesome bud, but it would have been that much better if you'd have fed til the end. Ultimately, our culture is submerged in myth and tradition, so people will...

    Flush rant

That condescending comment merely shows your lack of understanding on the topic of nutrient uptake/need, depending on the stage the plant is in. The plant will not be a lively green, given that it should be fed greater amounts of phosphorous and potassium as it develops in flower. Potassium is...

    Flush rant

Nobody is disputing that you will inevitably get good results if you flush, and are a knowledgeable grower. However, your plants will not get the nutrition they deserve throughout the most crucial point in their lives. Decreased yield, quality, flavor and taste is a real concern because of this...

    noob question

Don't put your mother in a hydro setup. Take a cutting and start a new mother in soil.

used baking powder instead of baking soda to raise ph will they be ok

It's sodium bicarbonate you need, regardless of what it's called. If you can't get a hold of any, pour some salt in your water (sodium) and then get a friend, and both of you breathe into the water (bi = 2, i.e. You and your friend. Carbonate = co2; the stuff we breathe out). It's a cheap b easy...

used baking powder instead of baking soda to raise ph will they be ok

You fucked up. Baking powder has a chemical called Retardion which makes the plant believe that it's conditions are the inverse of what they actually are. Therefore do the opposite of everything you usually do, i.e. use hardly any light, water once a month, and don't give it any nutrients. Make...

I am very serious. That harsh taste is from an improper cure, nothing to do with flushing.

Whats the longest youve ever cured or seen bud be cured?

Personally 5 months, although I saw an interview where Subcool had a jar of 8 month cured stuff.

Dude, CBD Crew have released their new 'CBD Therapy' strain which on average has less than .4 THC and over 6% CBD. Great ratio. Currently I'm growing their Medi Haze.

    Flush rant

    1) You don't smoke your medium, so if that's your logic, then never use nutrients, because your plant has already spent its first few weeks in flower forming buds with the nutrients you gave it. No amount of flushing will change that. 2) you can't tell it's not flushed... you can tell it hasn't...

This. This too. As mentioned earlier, only flush to correct an imbalance.
