You should not dim the bulb or it will not give the correct light spectrum. I have 600w dimmable ballasts 600/400/250, if i run it at 250w then i use a 250w bulb and it will work perfectly for the correct life span and give the correct spectrum, that is the correct way to use them :)...

Have you tried adding drip clean to the res? If its nute salts that should help but i've never had anything like that happen. My res is only 5 gal but even after a week or 2 there is no crust or residue in it.

It's easy, just right click it and save it to your pc then when you reply go advanced and add the image like you would a pic of your plant :)

I was pretty happy with how this one went but it is only my 3rd grow so i do consider myself a newb :) I was reading about it on and off for about 4 years before i actually popped a seed so i just give them what they need in regards to temps/light/air flow/food etc and let them get on with what...

I took clones from the AK48 and the Iced grapefruit and as soon as this one was chopped i put the AK48 into flower and 2 weeks later added the Iced grapefruit so i now have 2 plants in that space :)

Sorry for the newb question but why is that a magic number? I actually have 0.67m^2 (2/3 m^2) of floor space and got 314 grams so 314 / 2 * 3 would equal 471 per m^2

A final update, the total dried weight from this plant was 314 gramms or just over 11oz, not bad for my 1st scrog :)

That will depend on what water you are using and your plants genetics :) (some are cal/mag hogs :) ) ro/distilled = definately soft tap = probably hard tap = probably not

No mate, from seed it was vegged for 10 weeks as i had to keep cutting it back until i had space to flower it and from flipping to 12/12 to finish was another 56 days :)

No, i hang them to dry but i only have short lines so i was taking them down to move them around so they dry evenly and thought while they were down i would take a pic. I do put them in that tote for about 3 days with a humidity gauge before they go in the jar to make sure its not going to spike...

These are the tops i removed 4 days ago from the middle of the plant along with my zippo for size, they have shrunk quite a bit and are starting to feel dry on the outside now but still need about a few more days before going into the jars :D I took about half of the remaining tops off tonight...
