    Custom COB light setup

Some tents have access on 2 sides .... haven't seen one yet that have all sides with zippers. 8 COBs in a 2x4 is a lot I think. Your canopy won't be 7'7", lights have to attach to the framework and the COBs have pretty deep heat sinks (unless going active) so probably you lamp at the highest...

Testing Timber's B-lux Decor Vero fixture(1750k)= Hello beautiful SPD, finger still on the trigger

OH yeah forgot to add my IPM deal... and I'm THE laziest gardener and why I do organic soil... I don't have to do anything ... the water is already automated. IPM yes but pretty easy really, with no pests 1x a week thru veg and into 3 weeks flower and sometimes I skip. When mites show up then I...

Testing Timber's B-lux Decor Vero fixture(1750k)= Hello beautiful SPD, finger still on the trigger

My soil recipe is: 1/3 CSPM (I buy Premier brand at lowes for $10 - same exact thing from same company as Pro-Mix) 1/3 Humus (EWC + home made compost + a bag or 2 of Coast Of Main Lobster compost can find locally) 1/3 Aeration - I use per-lite since no-til - doesn't break down and doesn't float...

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

I have a small island on a lake in Ontario that the only composting insects are roaches. No worms, no flies just roaches and Ravens. The ravens eat at the compost pile and poop while eating and free entertainment. The ravens can talk and all sorts of crazy shit. They probably eat roaches too...

No worms?? red wigglers I thought were everywhere. Black soldier fly larvae are great composters and the flies are docile... and don't really like being inside your home either....

Testing Timber's B-lux Decor Vero fixture(1750k)= Hello beautiful SPD, finger still on the trigger

Been reading about COBs been running them since last fall when they first came out and got a few kits from Dan @timber. I can build my own but then I'd have to do all the research... then build. I'd probably still not have any running if I went down that route.... OCD... gotta have everything...

    Custom COB light setup

Not sure what the wattage works out to (cause too lazy to calculate) but I'm running Vero29s @ 100w ... canopy a few inches from the lamps... no bleaching just don't let the cola's sit right under a COB and yer good.

Roaches... meh, careful what you wish for there bro! Just sayin... Easy to grow, a lot harder to get rid of once out and about. I have a cottage in cottage country in Canada... roaches are there. Can put a pan of water out and they jump in and drown...they are everywhere.... and we are on an...

Its all good Mazar... IF I get a reall bushy plant with lots of side branching give it some ACT with Kelp/ewc/Alfalfa meal and some pure unsweetened organic coconut water no preservatives. 1 cup EWC 1/2 cup Kelp Meal 1/4 cup Alfalfa meal 1/4 cup coconut water 3-5 gal filtered water Aerate...

Don't you have it backwards?? Triacontanol causes stretch! Why I don't use in my ACT after 2 week of flowering. Before that for shure.... so not sure if serious. Back up you science with some .... well science. Since we agree to disagree, I'll point you to some factual info regarding this...

Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

I use Alfalfa meal along with Kelp Meal for stretch ( <-- see what I did there?), in my teas and also in the soil mix. I sometimes get a good stretch from the Kelp Meal AND a big ass bush. Sometimes I get a short big ass bush that takes me 6hrs to trim... I like the stretchy-ness better than...

    Custom COB light setup

I add it to my IPM routine.... so yes I use it for a foliar along with Horsetail Fern tea (gets rid of mold), Monterrey, Pro-tekt & Ful-power. How does it work to slow down stretch??

    Custom COB light setup

I use the Vero29 COBs but run them on a dimmable 2100mA Meanwell driver. I use 12 in a 4'x8' enclosure right at tree top level. Set to max for flower. Can use them also in VEG all the way up at ceiling and turned down less than 1/2 way. I never tried any of the cooler colors. The 3K is GREAT...

Just got lab results from the "Build-a-soil" that I bought...

^^^^ that and +1... only time I've seen it float was when I left a pot outside and it rained a shit ton filling the pot with water along with the soil mix.. a "bit" more perlite floated to the top but not ALL of it and I would bet my last gold dollar it was still evenly mixed in as Wet said and...

How to correct P deficiency in cooked soil mix.

I agree with the part about using something different for a top dress if thats what you need... probably better to grow a companion crop instead ... pretty sure that's what the farmers are doing these days instead of tilling the soil. New plants grow, shade the companion crops, the companion...
