PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

The temp of the res was never above 72F. But when the water in the bucket is in the room temp of 80F - it gets up to 77F quickly. But if those roots won't be sitting in that water all the time - they get a fresh cooled water every time it is flooded.

What If I need to be 2 days away from home? Go 5ml/gal instead of 2 right before leaving?

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

Update: water consumption doesn't change - we are at +- 80l/day. EC is still (0,57 just basic nutes with RO water), PH slightly rising by 0,1/day (5,9-6,0 now). I am adding H2O2 every day an hour before the lights switch on - 0,5ml/l. But when the roots are flooded I see no "bubbling" as the...

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

A week? Mine took about few hours. Even H202 from EU sucks :-D

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

Food grade doesn't have chemical stabilizers. Technical has. I know that H2O2 burn. When I was about 12 years old I was using it for making explosive like HMTD. And when I bought the last one it poured out of the barrel and destroyed carpets in my car. What a dick I am... :-D

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

The point is technical vs food grade H2O2.

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

Yess...the plants were drinking 110l of water each day. It's 80 now. When I add 0,5ml 30% H2O2 per liter of water each day...it could be about 20-25 litres of H2O2. Technical grade cost is 40USD. Growshop Essentials OxyPlus is (as you guess) somewhere about 600USD.

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

As I am using 500l and more of water in the res tank.... I have a question about H2O2... as law is very strict to selling chemicals here - I am only able to buy 30% technical grade H2O2. I have used it before in higher concentrations when I wanted to get rid of fungus gnats larvae. Plants were...

Yes, they say that bennies are already established and you have to just feed them using carbohydrates in Bud Candy. I am reading that too, but I will have to find EU versions of that products as I am able to buy worm castings only.

They are not that bad. Half of the fan leaves dead or heavily damaged, but the buds are still developing. Slowly but still. I tried to gently pull out all dead roots, but just a few of them came out.

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

Yes, I use RO. That makes 0,34EC tap water to 0,02EC "clean" water. Maybe that wasn't great idea to buy a bucket F&D but I need to manage it now. One way is to keep the system always as sterile as possible (H2O2, bleach, chlorine) the second way are bennies and all those air stuff. But I used...

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

Soo...we know it's not an issue caused by nutes. But how to prevent the root rot when those roots are always sitting in the water for a short period of time between flooding? Install air stone to every bucket? Or did you heard about this...

i hope it's not too late for recovery... i know the yield will be worse but I need to finish them.

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

Ok, i need to go the sterile way... i have a 30% H2O2. Do you have any safe and useful dosage?

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

I tried to slightly pull some roots and they broke instantly... without any force

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

Oh my... so go the sterile way asap instead of trying to cure it by voodoo juice?
  18. foliage2018

PH rise, EC rise, less water usage

i can give a try to that Voodoo juice which I have. If it doesn't help I can use those sterilizing thing. Bleach is Na2CO3·1.5H2O2? Just to be sure what i have to search for in my language. Pool shocks are the same? Just a chlorine in different concentrations?

hydroguard, great white are not on the EU market"... SubCulture from GH is very expensive in my application. Have you ever tried to kill everything with H2O2, flush all of that few days later and start to adding bennies to make a new environment? Or is it a bad idea at all?
