    SnailPowered's Aquaponic Adventures

I'm kind of hoping to set up my small system similar to the way that Herbin Legends has his. (youtube vids here) ..Basically a dual root zone set up in a very small space.

    SnailPowered's Aquaponic Adventures

Thanks for the reply, @SnailPowered. I'm aware of silverarm32 but I haven't looked too closely at his technique. I will now, though. Maybe the abundance of phosphorus that becomes available to the plants is due to it being one of the nutrients that's commonly added to fish food.

    SnailPowered's Aquaponic Adventures

Kudos to you, @SnailPowered! A lot of people say that flowering plants can't be grown using AP due to the lack of phosphorus etc. Did you manage your grow without having to supplement nutrients?

    How About an Aquaponics Section?

I know that there are a lot of people that say that it can't be done. However, there are tons of people out there doing it. Maybe if this site had an aquaponics section the myth that it can't be done will finally be laid to rest. In the meantime, ponder these videos on YT and know that it can be...

Pardon the repetitive posts but this site was acting peculiar yesterday. Admin, can one of you please delete the excess? If not, no worries.

    Budget Two-Level Stealth Cab

After seven weeks, the hand-watered bucket has finally paid off with nine tomatoes so far and a hand full of flowers that have yet to set fruit. I ditched the Siberian tomato plant that I had going in the lower section (in an AeroGarden) because the plant became too leggy and difficult to...

    First ever wardrobe grow.

I could be wrong but, from my experience and understanding, female seedlings tend to be shorter than male seedlings. Thinning out seedlings that are shorter might just leave you with some healthy males. Then again, you might be using feminized seeds. If that's the case, you can disregard this...

Yep, still growing.. (Siberian tomatoes) ..in my cabinet. This is 'the official' thread although I don't update every step of the process. However, I have decided to ditch the DWC in the top chamber for the old Hand-Watered Bucket technique using a 1.25 gallon bucket with crushed pea stone and a...

    The Nug Machine... Round 3

Gotcha. Thanks. I'm trying to figure out a way to go about it without having to send away for new nets every time. Time to hit the DIY drawing board, I guess.
