If the driver HLG-185H-C1050C puts 1150 +- are you sure fits well with 5 CXB3590 36v cause its seems to be 207w or so... If that works seems like awesome combo efficiency/Cost.
if you go for the 36v you get beter efficiency (64%) more light and better spread and if you go for the 72v will be cheap but you loose efficiency (56.3)
64% efficiency, not 60 and like 1050 umols for the 56.3 option and 960 for the 49%, think also 1000 umols max and I like the idea of max a small space.
Well if you want efficiency go for 4 cobs like bicit say, but remember it's only 50w more consumption and about 15% more intensity also cheap and easy.
Drivers
HLG-120H-C1050A for 2 72v cobs
HLG-120h-C700a for 3 72v cobs
U can go with 2 at 75w each 49% efficiency 3 at 48,8w - 56.3% efficiency, I'll go with 2 and you almost max the intensity 940-950 ppfd 1050ppfd for the 56.3%, go with the 72v for 2, and 36v for 3
Looking in that direction now, 4 reds/2 Blues or only reds... Going to check the monos options to max V and W
@alesh you know the umols/j of royal blue monos? Thx
8 4000k and some reds sound kick ass too but what a price! For the 4000k...
What about this red seems to be 650-670 http://shop.stevesleds.com/Philips-Luxeon-ES-Deep-Red-3-Watt-LEDs-RARE-Version-8794102435.htm
