I use fish hydroslate which is similar but a different process is used to create it. I would recommend using hydroslate over emulsion. To each is own. Just look up the difference online and you will get alot of good info.

Keep it Simple Organics is a very good company that carries some awesome products for teas and your soil. I use their seaweed extracts and other ingridients i cant make on my land i advise you check them out.

Right on i think im gonna test my water and see what ppm it is. So do you think it is really necessary to run good tap through a filter or would bubbling it out work well enough? Maybe with some ewc idk.

So whats wrong with well and spring water? Also i would not recommend air stones because they are to hard to clean the biofilm from them. I use pvc pipes with 1/16 inch holes drilled that provides alot of aeration and big bubbles.

cost wise making your own mix is the better way to go and you can make some really great soils. i just source thing that i need in bulk. i get compost from a local landscape shop for cheap and make my own on the side. i have a worm bin. i would recommend this if you are going to convert to...
