Northeast Ohio here, so I get ya on the temps. I'm running MH now. I will switch over to HPS around week 5-6. Another day another pic. 2 of the Blue Dream and 1 WWM have started to flower. The other BD and WWM seem a week or so behind. 09/30/2016

Thanks guys. Yes ballast is dimmable. Would I need different bulbs? But temps are not really a concern. The tent is in my garage. Temps are going down outside. These should go into November. I might have to keep the light on 24hr if we get a cold spell early. It can snow here in November, but...

This is my 2nd indoor grow. My first didn't go so well. Turns out my pots were too small and I ended up with little baby plants.... 7oz off of 5 plants. Didn't even make it worth the electric bill lol! So we try again. MSNL auto Blue Dream & White Widow Max. 5 gal buckets. Lowes organic garden...

White Widow Max comes in both photo & auto at MSNL. I'm growing the auto right now but have photo seeds ready for next spring.

How do I calculate my pot size? They are 10" diameter and 12" deep. If my math is correct I'm just under 2g? Think I may need some bigger pots for next year.

Thanks! I use MSNL as a seed bank. Are they also the breeder? If not then I don't know. For water I stick my finger into the soil around 2in deep. If its dry I give them some water. If still wet I wait 5-6 hours and check again. I only give them 1-2 cups of water at a time, I don't soak them down.

My set up...

I got the light 24" from the plants. If you room is in the 80's. Your temps will hit 100+ in the tent without extra fans blowing in.

If the light is off and temps are ok you can turn the blower off.

2 weeks from start under a 1000w MH @ 24/0 in a 2x4 tent..... so yes it can be done. Temp will be your biggest problem. 4" exhaust blower and a side clip fan blowing on the plants. Temps in my garage is in the 60's and my tent is in the 80's.

Week 8 buds keep growing....

Week 2 is done... they are coming along nice... still just water every 30 hours or so...
