You can still get busted because you TOLD someone about your grow. I don't tell anyone and I pay my electric bill on time. Power companies are not in the business of notifying anyone about high usage. Even if you did not pay your bill they would not call the police. They would however send you...
Looking marvelous as usual MD!!
I was wondering about the foot print of the led's. Is there enough heat reduction to justify the cost? Like if I used 8 led's in order to not use the two HPS lights?
I ditched the wife and daughter and split town for 4 days. I hung out north of Libby...
The magnetic ballast's aren't as bad as the digital ones. You can use a hand held am radio tuned between stations to check for the RF signal or a CB radio if you happen to have one. The best way to shield the cord between the light and ballast is with braided wire covering. It has to be made of...
From what I can tell no, there is no magnesium in MG. Your plants don't show sign's of deficiency so I would not add any unless they show it. Don't forget, too much of one thing can lock out another and cause you to make yet another mistake.
No bone meals or rock phosphates used. I have added green sand in the past but not for a while since it last's a long time and Azomite. For nitrogen I use crab meal, Alfalfa meal and Kelp meal.
I have around 40 gallons of soil sitting that I will add more Nitrogen rich amendments to. I wont...
Air movement air movement air movement!!!
Do you have fans blowing in there?
I have dealt with PM multiple times. Keeping the humidity below 50% and air circulation is the way to prevent it. I used GreenCure with great results. The milk thing was the worst I ever tried. I really hate the...
I gave the super soil a try last year. My issues were burning in veg and early flower then early fading. The early fading could have been caused by too much of one thing locking out another. I had the same issues for two grows in that soil with the third grow falling on its face very early. If...
I run 11/13 also. I have been reading about mid day depression and might give the 1/2 hour break thing a try soon. I wanted to see if the reduced time made a difference. So far it looks like flowering starts sooner by maybe a day depending on the strain.
As for the electricity savings... I...
I have broke branches to the point that there was barely a string of plant connected. I put it right back and taped it with stretchy plant tape and it healed. I don't know about after it has had air on the wound for a few minutes though.
I'm with the Doc.. My seeded plants beans are turning out better than the plant they came off of. I collect the pollen also for experiments. I made a cross that turned out very nice and am working on two more.
This subject would not exist if everyone would read the right information.
Those who think the flower is pulling from the roots directly influencing the flavor need to read up! There is a big ol process happening inside the plant that converts what the roots pull in, into food for the plant...
I'm still trying to figure out where those extra nutes go when you flush?? :???:
The flush sayers need to read this book. After they are done they can come back and tell us again why they flush!
I did the super soil or what I call the stuper soil last year. I had nothing but problems for the first two grows in that soil ( I re-use my soil) I have since stopped using Blood meal and Bone meal along with most of what is in super soil. I had burning at the beginning and early fade...
Flat white with extra titanium pigment is the best choice. I lined my room with 1" rigid insulation that is reflective on one side. It is easy to clean and adds some R value to the walls. It is also mold and bug resistant!
This happened to me a few months or more ago. I am still making seeds! :wall:
Actually I don't mind so much. I got a great cross out of the screwup!
It is finally starting to get back to normal. I did wipe the entire room down with bleach water a month ago. I emptied the room and...
