I been counting since the night I switched to 12/12. Got the female white pistils in 6 days from the start of 12/12. I dont think it matters much. Seeing as most people are checking the buds and determining harvest time anyways

They literally almost vanished overnight. Added sand from a playground over the soil, added one more sticky trap and smoked a couple cigarettes in the room last night and it seems as though they are almost extinct. There days are outnumbered! Once again, thanks RIU! I plan on removing the sand...

Good replys. Im hoping to harvest around day 55-60. Thats only another 15-20 days. Im glad I didnt cut anything off of her yet and I took a thorough examination of the trichomes with my microscope. I'm a firm believer it will be worth the wait. Can't wait to harvest and move onto grow #2 then...

I believe the hps bulbs put out a lot of heat. You dont have the tallest grow room. If you decide to go that route fabricate some sort of glass or clear shield to put directly under the hps bulbs. That should greatly reduce direct heat stress to your plants. good luck

Im on my first grow and using cfl's but IMO.. 3 60w may be ok for the tops of no more than 3 plants. Up to you on how much side lighting you'd like to add. But I would add something. @ 1000bulbs.com a 105w cost me about $37.00ea. And two 65w ran about $25.00ea. Im running two 65w and one 30w...

With only one 30w cfl you really shouldnt have any heat problems... Maybe it would be better to just find a spot with more room. Is it like a super stealth grow? Im flowering with 210w from 5 cfl's. And If my grow room would of allowed for more I would have used a couple more lights. Good luck.

How many watts is the cfl you are currently using? If you wanna pull off a half way decent grow you're gonna want much more lighting than one more cfl. its just not gonna cut it and or distribute enough light through the whole plant.

you will be fine. CFL's put out very little heat. Plants can be about as close to the light as you want, as long as they dont touch. How many plants you looking to grow? You may wanna add at least a couple 25 watters or something to the lower parts of the plant. Actually you definately do! and...

Man these fuckers are annoying! The sticky traps are loaded with gnats and they're all over the soil! They reproduced like crazy within a couple days. They are really starting to get under my skin. I just covered the soil with some sand. Hopefully this takes care of those bastards!!!

I totally dont understand his question lol. But on this note, veg for a little over a month if you can. The longer you Veg the greater your yield should be. I'd say to about 15". :peace:

haha Im sure there is quite a few different ways... But yea wet paper towel method never fails. I wouldnt put more than one seed per pot after you germ, IMO

IMO, germinate using a wet/damp paper towel. Place the seeds in the paper towel in between two paper plates or something and stash it in a dark place. Check on it in a few days. Always worked great for me back in the day. good luck your good seeds will look like this:

Sounds good to me. So either way what do I do when some buds are ready to be cut and others arent... I know a lot of people do that to "check" the bud and what not, and then usually some bud is just ready before others. How do you cut whats "ready" and leave whats not is what I mean...
