    Sevren's Testing Garden

Week 2 Welp, that took longer than expected. Hopefully each update will go a little smoother now that I have a few templates in place. The ladies are blowing up and starting to enjoy their new water source. I broke down and got a portable RO filter and for once I'm able to more accurately pH...

    Sevren's Testing Garden

It works for now, but it's still fairly heavy and probably not ideal for a closed area. I broke down and got a drill press when I got the giant heatsink so making all the holes was a breeze. Especially after going through 4 drill bits with my normal cordless drill. I think the only way to...

    Sevren's Testing Garden

I thought about redoing everything to passive, but I can't really control the heat more than I already have so I might as well keep things as they are.

If I remember correctly; all of the 3000k are CXA's and their fV is a bit higher than the CXB, so all but 1 are on one driver. The waste is only about 32 fV. All the CXB's and the remaining CXA are on the other driver and more or less max it out.

GPS = Greenpoint Seeds Sure thing. My dinosaur light is comprised of 7- 3070's cause I'm too cheap to upgrade to 3590's. Driven by 400W's from 2 hlg-185h-c1400a's (200w each). The spectrums are 3000k, 3500k, and 4000k, placed like so:

And those few weeks turned into a few months. But, here we are, after a few vacations, a series of male culling later and Round 3 flower mode is on. New changes this round are: 3 Gallon pots instead of 5 gallon (hoping to get close to the same quantity with out busting out of the tent again)...

Let there be white: mc130p's horticultural adventure continues

You can try what they do to trees, wet fabric and rope/tape. I have had a few snap and I just wrapped a thin piece of wet paper towel around it to keep it in place, then taped it to hold it, supported with some bonsai/garden wire. Might be overkill for one bud, but if you want to keep it goin...

Yeah everything I'm reading about it sounds pretty awesome. Going to experiment with straight coco and see if it provides any benefits. SumaGreen Shop

Just picked up some of this or at least a variant of it? (SumaGreen Ag with SumaGrow inside) Interested to see what it can do on my current round.

    Lets Talk Inexpensive PAR Meters....

It isn't. It's 2x4. If it were bigger, it wouldn't really be an issue.

    Lets Talk Inexpensive PAR Meters....

I've been interested in an inexpensive PAR/quantum meter myself, but seems silly to spend $200-$400 just to make sure my light is at the right height and getting a good spread of µmols on the canopy. I'm also using 3 different CCTs, but it seems like that doesn't matter by the responses here...

Experiment Garden Round 3 Preview Round 3 officially kicks off tonight. I just put the seeds in their rooters and so begins the long trek of vegging and training and vegging some more. Round 3 are GPS and Tree of Life genetics and look forward to some winners. Cherry Wine (The Wife x...

    Sevren's Testing Garden

No worries, our environments are so similar that all techniques, tips or methods are helpful. Yeah I trimmed the hell out of the Grease Monkey, she got a lot of airflow, the other two didn't get as much trimming due to them playing catch up. I should have trimmed them back more later on but I...

I thought about lower fans to push pull air around the tent like a computer chassis. Nice to know it works, I'll definitely have to try it next round.

    Sevren's Testing Garden

I'm starting to think we live in the same house much less the same area. The weather here has been pretty humid as of late so that's been a constant battle (thundering as I type) and yeah soon as the heat kicks in everything will dry back out. I also have to keep the door open to my area, but...

    Sevren's Testing Garden

Ranged from 45 to 79. Usually around 55 to 60. I got a small dehumidifier to try to combat it, but the room the tent is in is too enclosed and doesn't allow proper ventilation. I knew it was most likely going to happen, it was just a race against the clock.
