Larry's Big Stinky Ass Shit/Skunk Grapish Cheese Cultiver de Gorille

The HH FP I transplanted from the coffee cup was gone. Not sure who to cuss. It was a good looking seedling, about 6-8" tall.

3 HH FP. The grasshopper ate one seems to be recovering.

    The HG patch. Can't remember exactly what this one is, but it's still alive. {I'll look back in a minute}

This is the foggy view from HGw. I love working early in the morning.

All three holes here are B&S X CP1. The ones in the first hole both got bug topped right after I put them out.

Larry's Big Stinky Ass Shit/Skunk Grapish Cheese Cultiver de Gorille

This morning I went to tend the HG and HGw patches. Planted a HH FP in the 4th hole of HGw, 10-15 yards south of the other 3 holes.

I staked out several more side limbs on the Peach in the STL. I had cut a pile of stakes, but still ran short.

SV2. I had cut some stakes before getting to the patch, and I staked out two more. Now the little one in the middle is the only one not to be leaned over. These are the fastest growers so far. {Yesterday morning when I reached into my garden stash bag for some smoke, I grabbed some SV2 by...

The TF X BT in the Peach tree hole. I leaned the two tallest ones over.

Larry's Big Stinky Ass Shit/Skunk Grapish Cheese Cultiver de Gorille

While I was tending this patch, there was a fireworks display going on in a nearby town. It's 13 odd miles by the road, so maybe 8 or 9 skymiles. I could see a little of the diffused light, but only the tallest ones got up high enough for me to actually see them. Still pretty cool. And I didn't...

Larry's Big Stinky Ass Shit/Skunk Grapish Cheese Cultiver de Gorille

I tended the plants in the STL by the moonlight. Sorry for the poorly aimed picture. These are the CP1 Squared in the hornet nest hole. They are still pretty short for it, but I leaned them over.

It's always something different in this game. Hopefully they can take it. I'm only spraying with Neem oil. I have seen a little burning on the leaf tips. Time before last when I mixed it up, I couldn't find my measure, and I may have got it a little strong.

I stopped by the holding grounds and topped off all the new sprouts with potting soil. Had to water sprouts for the first time. Up to now I was having to cover them so they didn't drown. But the sun is giving me good growth on the sprouts. With luck they will catch the first round.

Swung by the house for the camera and went on to see about the new plants in the BP patch. The 2 GdR looked alright, but the Afghani X Shit/Skunk was looking kind of rough. You know the grasshoppers had to go for the bought seeds.

I went to the FP patch late yesterday afternoon. Sadly without the camera. But all 6 plants were doing good.

How hot is it where you are? I saw potroast comment that a rule of thumb is not to spay if your temp and humidity add up to 140. I told him that means I could never spray.

    Open Show and Tell 2017-18

I got an oz per with my fall/winter seed tests. Those were planted in October. The yield on these will depend on rain, but 3 or 4 oz per would make me happy. I'm having trouble finding the time to tend my patches with just the first round in the ground. Not sure how much TLC they will get when...

    Good Morning/Weather Report Suite

Sunny and warm here today. At 1530 it's sunny, 92F with 53% humidity. Forecast high/low is 92/73F with 10% chance of rain. It's already drying up after 4 or 5 days without rain. My life would be so much easier if it would just rain every other day.

It's the wolf spiders I have to share the woods with. I have a picture of my turkey mask on the ground with a big spider on it. I decided to let him have it as long as he wanted it.
