The drainage holes are at the absolute bottom of the pot. Since I never go to bed until all of the runoff is disposed of, this is impossible. Also, I've grown them in these pots for the last 6 weeks and no issues until now.

Yeah, it was great for the first two months of veg. I'm still going to use it for future grows. Just going to be more mindful of what I'm mixing it with.

Because this is my first grow? I'm sure you do all of your grows perfectly every time (even the first), but for some, there is a learning curve.

pH going in is always 5.9-6.1. pH coming out is always near the 4.9 to 5.5 range. The Sensibloom is pH perfect so I don't need to test it but I always do. I am using Blue Lab pH and EC probes (EC is always between 1.7 - 2.0 going in).

They are not raised, however, I always clean my drain plates after every feeding. I don't ever let them sit in it over night.

Same room. This tent is a grow room within a grow room. I have veg plants outside of it on 18x6 light. The tent serves as a light tight environment for 12x12 blooming.

The $500 budget is self-imposed so don't get too hung up on it. I have been known to ignore my own rules if it helps me avoid future headaches or if the quality of the product is just so good that buying anything less would be considered pound foolish. Thanks all for the replies so far.

Where did you see a fan that I was buying? The only fan in my shopping cart is for the carbon filter. But yes, that is what I mean by cooling fan...for the light fixture. It doesn't come with one as far as I can tell.
