Hey guys, I usually turn my lights off at 10 at night and put them back on at 4 in the morning. I'm on an 18/6 schedule. Sometimes I go to sleep and wake up a couple hours early and I put the lights on. So sometimes their getting 20 hours of light except 18. Can this cause a problem?

I use 3, 68 watt cfl's. They are the very big ones, like a half foot long. I grow in a small closet so I don't have much space so do you think an led will grow the plant a lot quicker than cfl's?

I'm using 3, 68 watt cfl's. I know that led's can be cheaper but the effect of the light is what I am wanting to know. How much better is an led compared to cfl or hps when it comes to how fast you can harvest the plant.

I don't know what you mean by, 5 yrs lol. I learned a lot in 5 years. I grew in miracle gro and I produced plants that were beautiful and potent. So I think I'm a good grower, its just that after 5 years I forgot a lot.

Thank you for your reply, I think heat won't be a problem. At this point I just want to know how much faster a good led can grow a plant. When I use cfl's they grow so slow, so I think if I get an led it could take a couple weeks off the time for harvest.
