    Deficiencies Again...Ugh

It's more of a balance on how much moisture a container can hold without depriving it from nutrients/oxygen (from being too wet). Like too much drainage and there is plenty oxygen and virtually no way you could overwater, but then again it dries up too fast. But then again, too soggy...

    Deficiencies Again...Ugh

Those gnats can be very annoying and stress the plant out even if it's well established plant. There is some stuff u can pour to try get rid of the larvae, but most important thing to keep them away/and even get rid of them is to let the top soil dry out, which is where the larvae and eggs are...

    Deficiencies Again...Ugh

Yeah, every feeding with fertilizer. Problem with just using the full dose of what the label says, it doesn't take account the amount of light etc u have. So big plants, alot of light might be close to full dose from the label. Otherwise ½ or 3/4 what the label says with every watering with...

    Deficiencies Again...Ugh

Yeah, I'd be inclined to say so, especially if u were still feeding fertilizer only every other watering. Also there is no signs of overfeeding anywhere, just the defiency symptoms you pointed out.

    Deficiencies Again...Ugh

I think you are onto something with your suspicisions. With good runoff you are very unlikely to start accumulating nutrients in the soil. So I suggest you use fertilizer with every watering. If u weren't already I think this alone just might fix it. As for P-K and Ca-Mg I find this graph...

RO water with GHE tripart nutrients = calcium defiency?

Well I did calculate them myself, with my newly acquired skills, so take them with little grain of salt. Although if u 3x my numbers, u get same as you 15-13-23, so I'm thinking I got it right.

RO water with GHE tripart nutrients = calcium defiency?

    Well the lucas formula atleast isn't really comparable to the maxibloom. "Lucas"1:2 = N 50ppm P 44ppm K 77ppm Ca 50ppm Mg 36ppm S 33ppm MaxiBloom N 50 ppm P 64.5 ppm K 116.2ppm...

    Leaf curling issues - Taco'ing

Can't quite put pin on the problem. Looks like some potassium defiency with the leaf edges turning brown somewhere. Also pretty dark green and the leaf cupping could be some magnesium def aswell. Double check pH's

RO water with GHE tripart nutrients = calcium defiency?

I've done vegging with ratio from the label which includes the flora gro. But close to 12/12 lights and bloom phase I go without flora gro, so just flora micro/bloom with 1:2 ratio. Yeah even GHE site says you shouldn't use cal-mag with their softwater products, which is part of the reason I was...

RO water with GHE tripart nutrients = calcium defiency?

Changed rez when I switched 12/12 lights and then after ~3weeks so it should've been pretty fresh batch when defiency started to raise its head. I had the classic leaf tip pulling on otherside and the spots in the middle of the leave. I'm sure the lack of calcium could've lead to some other...

RO water with GHE tripart nutrients = calcium defiency?

Thanks, yes I had very strong suspicion of the Cal. Just didn't have any good remedy for it, added some extra flora micro as a quick fix, but probably should've done that earlier too. I got some cal-mag ordered, but it wasn't available for this. I had new LED lights for this grow and they...

RO water with GHE tripart nutrients = calcium defiency?

TL;DR Is it possible or how common would it be to have Calcium defiency in hydro with RO water? Using GHE tripart softwater nutes. Defiency showed itself during the calcium hungry weeks of 3-5 flowering. Ty

RO water with GHE tripart nutrients = calcium defiency?

Hey guys, simple questions if you have any experience on the matter: So my tap water is essentially RO, with only 0.08 EC. Now I got 2x plants in hydro (2x NFT) and the other plant is showing decent amount of Calcium defiency while the other doesn't virtually have any defiency. I'm just...

New NFT setup, and plant wilting during light cycle

I agree with u guys that it definatly looks like overwatering. It just seems weird to me that while the pump has been 24/7 on for some time, the plant looks very healthy during the beginning of the light cycle. So is the the wilting lack of oxygen/(overwatering) ? Is that because the stem is...

New NFT setup, and plant wilting during light cycle

Hey guys, i've grown in soil before and this is my first NFT grow, so everything's a bit new still. So got 2 different strains growing and the other one starts to wilt after sometime in light cycle. I'm using 20/4 cycle and the wilting starts after around 12hours of light. My pump has been 24/7...

    Late flowering deficiency, Mo? P?

I used about teaspoon of Epsom salt with few waterings around halfway into flowering. I think i'll try using more next time. Did u start having this problem late in flowering? Since i was tad high on the pH, i thought iron wasnt maybe absorbed well enough, which would leave to some buildup...

    Late flowering deficiency, Mo? P?

Hi guys, So this is what we are looking at. @ 7½weeks flowering (barney's lsd) I've been giving tap water and adjusted the ph before, but when i reached full nutes i thought the ph was fine bit below 7. So now I took sample from the run-through water and as accurately I can read that color...

    2 in 1 branching

Hello guys, with my recent grow I encountered an interesting phenomenom. I was pulling branches down with my ironwire (I made an U-shape hooks in the wire to grab the other end to branch, and another to growing box). Well one of the wires had too tight U-shape for the thickening branch. So when...
