Awesome man. That skull should scare off any pests too :p

    4x4x6.5 bagseed grow!

Just a friendly suggestion, try and make your ventilation lines as taut as possible and reduce the number of bends the best you can. From what I see it’s probably fine but I’d get rid of that excess (the uncoiled portion) by stretching it and getting it real tight. I had to cut mine to make it...

Awesome man. I’ll keep tuning in! Good luck with the trim post some pics.

    4x4x6.5 bagseed grow!

Nice pics man. Just started reading your thread sorry about the awful luck with seeds. I used ILGM and everything went fine. In regard to defoliation, I’m not sure you really need to. If air flow seems good you’re probably fine. Your plant doesn’t strike me as abnormally dense leaf-wise -...

Wilting leaves and brown spots - RDWC

Yeah... you should probably just invest $10 in pH cal solution. The route above will not be accurate.

    I don't know whats wrong

This exact thing just happened to me (I’m in my first hydro grow and it happened during a transplant). I think it gets rusty due to metals in nutrient rich water, and then they oxidize - this creating the rusty look

RDWC success - without a chiller

Yeah send it on over Yeah send it on over I’d appreciate that. I also rock a stir plate though nowadays I only use it for infusing tequila haha. I have an EnviroCycle composter that collects yea at the bottom that I use for my “regular” plants, wonder if I could use that as a base for compost...

RDWC success - without a chiller

I also noticed that we both have practically the same stand for the container - matte white paint on wood?

And here is a shot of the little lady today, Keisha (seemed right for Master Kush).

RDWC success - without a chiller

Thank you both for checking in and the well-wishes. Now that I have the plant on the system (been in there for 17 days now), the highest temp I’ve ever had is 73.5F, with the low being about 70.5F. Since it’s summer, I’m pretty thrilled about this. I had debated between the sterile vs...

Cleaning RDWC with H202 before transplant - how long / how much?

I don’t mean to hijack this thread (but here I go anyway), but I just ordered some Hydroguard (decided to go the bacteria route), and was curious what you use as a concentration in the res. I guess this is sorta on topic since it’s the opposite of the sterile route.

    Res/Nutes Change Frequency

Renfro will answer this better, but I believe the water level dropping with static EC just means the nutrient uptake is relatively low compared to the total volume of concentrated nutrient water. I imagine Renfro runs a pretty big reservoir and although water level drops (plant uptake and...

Cleaning RDWC with H202 before transplant - how long / how much?

Sounds like you went the right route with cleaning rather than throwing away. Unless some crazy biofilm has permeated the stone and has no prayer of being removed, tossing them is obviously a last resort. I guess the question remains if H2O2 is the most economical way of cleaning, but for...

Final details: Undercurrent DWC pipe height?

Definitely the most optimal. I regret not including this in my design originally. Nice :D

Best timing/tips for full RDWC water change

Whoops! I missed that part about RO water. Since you mentioned calcium in an earlier post, are you adding calcium nutrient prior to the rest of your series? With the GH series Calimagic is to be the first nutrient added to fresh RO.

    Res/Nutes Change Frequency

I hear what you’re saying I think. Basically you are wondering if new compounds can form. I imagine that yes, over time the mixture of various compounds that are in the reservoir will breakdown to some extent and may even form new/other compounds eventually. For example, I imagine that the...

Best timing/tips for full RDWC water change

What is your water source - well or city? And more importantly what sort of pre-treatment (if any) do you do to your water (RO, carbon filtration, etc.) prior to adding it to the reservoir? If you were to use an RO filter with carbon and sediment filters you’d have no need to test for salt or...
