you can run 11 CXB2530 in series at 500 mA (17.5W) with a HLG-185-500; thats 11x 35V. the driver gives 400V max. HLG-240-500 ? i don't think meanwell makes drivers that go over 500V. If you want more cobs @ 500mA on 1 driver, you need a HLG 320 or 600 hooked up in paralel.

3 cobs on the hlg 320-3500 model? Dont you mean the 2800 model? The 3500 will run constant in over voltage mode for 3 x 36v cobs i think , or is this no problem?

i have 4 of them waiting for me at the postoffice. could be that the extra 7% in lumen vs the 80CRI, is in almost useless green spectrum. don't know. and they are high stepping, could be that all 4 of them show a different colorhue. Will give them a try @1,05 A ,for a litte veg project.
