giving defoliation during flower a try

That particular strain (and first Auto too) was new to me. I have grown it since and grew it pretty straight up without playing too much with it. I have to say when I did it was in a bigger room with HID lighting instead of the CFLs of the small spaced cab. I will say the ones in more space were...

giving defoliation during flower a try

Alright. Went back to page 2 and such. It was alright,, but I'm looking on how to improve this stuff. Apples to oranges ,maybe,, but here is where I'm at.... this is a Auto that was fed plain old chemical nutes from Walmart. Did a bunch of Defoliating(?) along it's way. Kept topping, fiming...

All those pretty pictures... and no buds? Where's the defoliation pictures or am I at the wrong place? Thought this thread was about, "giving defoliation during flower a try"? Are we so far from the topic it doesn't matter any? I keep following looking for some sort of pertinent information on...

All the $$$ wasted to buy miracle product...

Grow experience = evolution in the grow rooms. The original cab is now my lab, clone / seed spot. Original flower closet is my veg room. My coal bin is now my flower shop originally a regular horizontal grow, now a V-SCROG. Cab is free standing. The veg closet gets air sucked out and dumped...

    lighting with CFL?

Try going to the "Vertical" thread and see what they are doing with basically "side lighting". You may want to reverse things and put the plant in the middle and the 3 bulbs around the plant down low (about 1/3 from top). Keep or make movable walls to reflect the light tight to the plant. I did...

    lighting with CFL?

    I love CFLs for small grows. Top 2 - 13 watt at 5500, 2- 23 watt @ 2600. Later I'll add 2 - 42 watt droppers at 2600 2 gal pot of Poo-mix & sm. grow stone, Jack's Classics, Cal-mag, dolomite, Pro-tek. About as simple as it gets. This one (Whit Widow) produced just over 3 oz in a 13 X 22 X 30...

    Speeding Up AutoFlowers?

Increasing time of light cycle seemed to speed them up some. Considerably better than 12/12 or 18/6. I noticed 24/0 worked well on straight grows. LST to your heart's desire,,, just don't cut anything (like topping / FIMing) and she'll grow fast. ... and push the nutes a bit too for the longer...

    4X4 1200w V-ScrOG Cage of Green

You do realize that by jabbing the dirt like that you were actually compacting / compressing the dirt even more for even less drainage don't you? I often refer to that as, "Killing them with kindness".

    4X4 1200w V-ScrOG Cage of Green

Sorry to hear that. Makes them about 10 weeks now? That Cindy should be at least 26-28 inch tall by now. Know you'll not like hearing this,,, but the plants are indeed fucked (IMHO). It would take some good experience to make them worth growing further... and that would only be IF there was...

Tell me those are NOT the same plants as you had in post #4 on 11 - 12 - 2013 of this thread! From the stems in those last pictures,,, they look really stressed out big time. If left to guess,,, I'd be thinking water logged & oxygen starved galore. But, colors in picture don't mean much with...

Never grew Cherry Bombs,, but here is a Cindy 99 ready for chop tomorrow. I'll get to that in a moment. Only talking veg here.... Lights - 18 / 6, 250w MH, Fans on timer and do not run when lights are off. Temp pretty constant 70 / 74F. Maybe you are, but if not... you may find it beneficial...

    Vertical Bulb Placement ?

While I appreciate and generally agree with what you guys are sayin.... ... Sometimes however,, I really like a indica. When I do I don't let vertical hold me back,, I'll just run the veg time 2X that of my sats or until they hit 30 to 32" in heigth. Time consiming yes. But I like the variety...

Did that. 48" Lazy Suzan. Works great too. Metal piece in middle picture bolts to floor and the table's hole nestles around it for pivot. All wheels 90 deg. off centerline. 3/4 inch ply. 4X4 1200w V-ScrOG Cage of Green

Too much light. Plants are too compact because of light. Decrease or raise the light. Better yet, set them to the side light. You want some stretch there sport. LOL Remember.. vertical. No flat canopy. stretch it out some for the screen.
