9-59-8. Phosphorous When does this need to be used?

Agreed. High THC strains are what give the bad reactions. The imbalance and abundance of THC makes for a paranoid uneasy high. This is where the physiological problems come into play. Correct and balanced ratios of cannabinoids is key.

    Help identify this deficiency!

Agreed and well said. That EC might be a bit low. Whats your starting EC of your tap water? .9 is only around 500 - 700 ppm depending on the scale. I'd also bring that pH up a bit to 6 or 6.2 and make sure you get some run off when you water. 5.8 is more of a no media/water based hydro guideline.

You say that like praying is a bad thing??

    Mag deficiency?

Salt build up causing pH issues. Feeding every water will lead to build up of certain elements that will lock out others or create pH issues. That flush of plain water every other or every 3rd watering, flushes out excess salts and helps balance things out when you add your next feed. That's...

    Nice setup. Nicer plants. ;o)

    Ph in Ph out?

Exactly, no need. Coco's pH is around 6-6.5 that's one of it's strengths. No need for buffers, actually the coco acts as the buffer.

    Peat and PH Consensus

Also a fact brother! I missed the reused media as well. Definitely a factor.

    Peat and PH Consensus

Yes, right out of the bag they are. Unfortunately peat breaks down causing an acidic reaction in the soil. Lowers the pH over time. Most blends don't have enough lime or buffers to last a whole grow. If you don't add it or pH your water accordingly you will run into issues. Usually pH'ing the...

9-59-8. Phosphorous When does this need to be used?

I agree. People over hype THC. It's the plant as a whole that makes the magic.

Water pumps too loud - building a soundproof box - ventilation needed?

Yea unfortunately most electric motors aren't cooled by water though and that's what creates the heat. Not the pump itself. Definitely ventilate the box.

    Production of 10000 clones total

With rockwool this will work is you keep the wool hydrated. and give them a misting once or twice a day. Key to rockwool is using a point object like scissors to punch down into the wool and make sure you stick the cutting down into this firmly. I've done this with a room at 40% Peat pellets on...

    Drain to waste and $$$

One thing I do to combat this is I use Peat based soil-less medias buffered with lime, top dressed with organic nutrients. My drip system has a fertilizer injector like a hozon that sucks up a light batch of nutrients to a decent runoff amount. The nutrients are washed down slowly and used as...

    Ph in Ph out?

Trust the science my friend. Learn how pH works and you will understand it and be able to manipulate it. pH is a balancing act. Coco is 6.5 and the ideal range is 6-6.8 for nutrient uptake in plants. Then water with a PH of 5.8-6.8 will work well. The 6.5 pH of the coco buffers the 5.8 up to 6...

    Ph in Ph out?

Coco has a Ph of 6.5 to 7 so your water is being buffered up by the coco. Like mentioned above, you'd be better in the 6-6.5 range.

    Peat and PH Consensus

This is the kicker with peat based medias. Peat has a Ph of 4 to 4.5 I believe and if you don't buffer that with lime you will run into issues. Salt build up will also mess with the Ph of your media. Like someone mentioned about it holding onto salts.

9-59-8. Phosphorous When does this need to be used?

I honestly think I mixed up your thread with a deficiency one I was a part of while checking my alerts. They look beautiful still and you're doing better then some experienced growers. Don't take things too seriously on the internet. Read and take it or leave it. I'm no professional, just have...
