The link is in my signature box, below named "My RDWC/UC Grow Room"

    Thinking about rdwc?

BTW, I find RDWC much easier than soil. Plus, there's no heavy lifting of bags of soil. All the weight is in the water. The totes and pipes weigh nothing. The trick is to run plumbing into the grow space and have a way to drain the water later.

    Thinking about rdwc?

RDWC is probably the easiest method, with spectacular results. However, it doesn't replace practice growing in general. Take a look at my grow room thread below. I made several improvements along the way, so you'll see my room morph over time.

Which would produce more DO in a DWC?

A'ight, got my little heater going.

Which would produce more DO in a DWC?

Yep, those temps came from an IR gun. I would be around that when I had my HID, because my hood was sealed. During veg I'd have them around 81°. Its not a money issue. I can run the heater. The room is warmer than my house, @ 70°, but it does feel a little like autumn in there. I'll warm...

Which would produce more DO in a DWC?

I'm a tech kinda dude, so I love hacking and messing with my android devices :) My canopy tops are 76°

Which would produce more DO in a DWC?

Before switching from hps to led, I would see posts of led lights burning tops from lights being too close. So I've been kinda cautious, and watched the girls closely, as I got the lights closer and closer. Now, I have my lights around 90%, and as close as 12" to 14" to some of the tops. I'm...

Which would produce more DO in a DWC?

Yeah, they're just held in on the corners, and supported by the small bar. I put zipties on the bar to prevent them from swiveling. I have the two rigs connections Ted with a couple twisty ties to prevent the fan wind from banging them together. But I think a bigger advantage is they allow...

    Canopy feedback/pruning advice wanted.

Its not totally necessary to remove all the bottom stuff. Its not really taking energy away from bud development. Here are mine, which I'm overdo for supercropping and getting my net up. All of the tops will fall over once they start getting heavy.

    Canopy feedback/pruning advice wanted.

I just did that with my four yesterday, and filled a 5 gallon bucket stuffed with fans! Your canopy looks great! But you'll probably have to make a net for the tops. They get really heavy, and can flop over towards the end. When a plant has to hold up a branch that isn't well supported...

Regarding grow container size & root mass...

I wouldn't say that. I may add a whole bunch of nutes at once (I start at around a cup or two for my sixty gallons), but I can go much, much longer before adding more. Now, if you flush every week, then yeah. But, once you get some experience and tune your system, you'll learn that flushing...

    Youngsters grow

Yes, get that dehumidifier going. During veg you want to shoot for > 50% rh, during flowering, around 30% to 40%.

    Youngsters grow

Something you should really consider doing is building a large spill tray for your system. With hydroponics, you will end up with water on the floor. Its almost inevitable. Imagine if you took a 5 gallon bucket of water, and just poured the whole thing right there on the floor. Even with as...

Regarding grow container size & root mass...

Not sure how much the size of the root masses has to do with the size of the plants, but larger containers do mean more water. More water is better for maintaining temps, pH, etc... The best upgrade for buckets, IMO, is the 27-gallon HDX totes with the yellow lids. One of those can replace 2...

    Dence buds

@Jahfarmer95 also read up on drying and curing. So, so important, and when done properly should take at least a couple weeks. I usually don't start digging into mine for at least a month of curing. When you do your initial hang and dry for about a week, depending on your environment, your...

What are the chances my net is causing this?

Fans get some damage just in general, including what im seeing with yours. What you want to watch for are symptoms spreading to the surrounding leaves. If its just local then you're okay. If you start seeing it spread to other parts of the plant, go to the "plant problem diagnosis" page on...

Dried tap roots in soil -- hm...

Surprised they didn't die after being dried out. I would've thought for sure thats what the end result would be. Just let them go and see what happens. Whatever you do, don't constantly hover over them or go poking around the soil to see how the tap roots are doing. That's a great way to...
