    First Grow... Ready To Harvest?

People are going to want a full plant shot, then will probably say 2 weeks minimum, there do seem to be some fresh white pistols showing so you could gain some more weight with the extra time. Don't look at the sugar leaves, only the tricomes on the calyx. Post a full plant pic.

This AND if anyone has any outdoor growing anywhere remotely close to you, you're the jerk pollinating them.

    When to harvest

seems like they can withstand a small frost, if it has been gradually getting colder. I'm not sure how low they can go, it's been dipping into the high 30's here at night and so far I'm doing alright. I'm new to this outdoor grow myself

    When to harvest

you should leave them a lot longer, like 3-4 weeks weather permitting

    Bacon Shortage

no, that pink salt preserves color mostly. You also have to be very careful with it, as it can be toxic if you use to much. If you have some go for it, be careful and weigh it out. I don't use it.

Beer should be ready in a few more days. Here’s a couple harvesting pics.We ended up having a couple friends over and put them to work picking, we fed them for the effort. One is a local brewmaster can’t wait to taste what he’s made!

    Bacon Shortage

i play with pork belly all the time, at work,(chef), and at home for fun. I have great results with a 50/50 rub of kosher salt and brown sugar. Rub it down liberally, let sit for 1 week refrigerated, flip every day as juices will start to form. Rinse under water, to remove any remaining salt...

    Here I grow again

Things are still going but no longer pretty at all. I tossed the tiny ap after being crushed by the fallen jack. I’m down to this. I’ve clearly ran too high ppm. Currently at 850 but climbing daily. Will change res out tomorrow aim for 700. Nothing to do but improve with the next grow

    Here I grow again

and what had started to look like a solid little grow has turned to shit. Jack got sick/died it completely over shadowed my AP in the front and when she fell over she pretty much crushed her. Think i may just pull her as well sadly. Bruce in the back continues to looks decent but that's it...

a better pic of the bubbles. It's too late for that plant i threw her out but wanted to double check that my bubbles look sufficient. I made a few mistakes this grow, ones i intend to not repeat, just want to make sure it looks like DO isn't one of them. Thanks

And things were looking so good

took a little peak in before lights on, she's not doing any better, anything i can do before i just cut my losses and hope it doesn't spread to the other plant in the same res? I will also get a pic of the bubbles to hopefully rule that out as an option. looking back i had been using bleach...

    Here I grow again

it's not all puppies and fairytales. Work up yesterday to Jack looking real limp, perhaps them starting to lean was a sign that she wasn't doing so hot, instead of my perceived buds just getting heavy. I have another post up about this in the Hydro and have gotten some direction, but i fear...

And things were looking so good

Yes used bleach from the get go, net pot will look wet as I was advised to top feed a little to see if she will drink. I was also not impressed by the look of it underneath. I tried to keep detailed records of grow at home as well a mini journal kept here. Looks like this round will be another...

And things were looking so good

yup same amount in each res, even changed out the stone a couple weeks ago as the old one wasn't pumping out the bubbles. If i over bleached it is she done for?
