I agree FFOF works well for me across all stages of life - seedling through harvest.

Don’t give it a second thought...I have 20/20 and still carelessly pour water on the leaves...they sneak in the cup when you’re not looking. Carry on :bigjoint:

The discoloration occurs when pouring water + nutrients into the cup and the leaf touching the solution. I wouldn’t worry about it if you too think that is the cause.

13 days since flipped to 12/12. Would you consider potting up the remaining 3 plants to 3 Gal (currently 1 Gal) given the attached root image of the male I discarded?

Please see the attached images. Plant 1 seems to exhibit female characteristics while Plant 2 has the signs of “nanners”. Can you confirm so that I can free up some space in a 2’x2’ tent. 2 remaining plants have not shown sex at this time. Thanks for the help. Budd

Appreciate the follow up as I am one of those readers. How do you prepare the soil in the larger pot for the transplant? Is the medium moist or do you pre-water until runoff?

Is this common or do most go with feminized seeds to avoid these types of decisions. Would probably settle on 3-4 1 Gallon pots next time but this time would mean disposing of 4-5 plants.

Attaching a pic of seedlings in their new home. My plan is to let them grow until the leaves reach diameter of the solo cup. Next steps after that are still unclear as I do not know sex. Do I transfer all 8 to 1 Gal pots, flip and then pull the males or is there an alternative approach when sex...

They are not auto-flowering but rather seeds from an outdoor grow earlier this year (not mine). Do I start the 2 week veg timeframe after transplanting them into larger pots? Which size do you suggest for all of them?

Good points. Newbies love to micro manage. I currently have 8 seedlings in a 2’x2’ tent and am not sure how many to pot up and what size. They are bag seed so sex is unknown. What do others recommend?

Yes, appears that was the case although remaining 3 did not exhibit droopy leaves even though they had pre-soaked soil as well.
