I use a kitchen strainer I found at Walmart, and as soon as I'm done running, push it thru the screen with a spoon onto parchment paper to dry. They make different size screen in the strainers, so tried to find one that was fairly small.
No freezing and trying to plane it down and dealing with...
I ran into the same problem with the bags. So, went back and watched the Frenchy Cannoli videos AGAIN, to see what I missed. And what he did was cut buckets down, and just used the top of the bucket, 1 for each bag, so I did the same, and it makes a world of difference, no more fighting to get...
I've got a setup in my basement, and the room actually is "outside" the footprint of the house. It's a hidden room built for cold storage of vegetables. I can keep very good control of it with a dehumidifier and an AC infinity fan and controller. Fan vents into a carbon filter in the laundry...
You can if you'd like to. After 4 days dry/ 4 days cure, it comes out dry enough to trim. If you don't want a flat spot on your buds, after day 2, flip them over. I really don't care about flat spots, it's going into Grove bags after it comes out, and my grinder can't tell the difference...
That's typically around what I spend. Maybe he's just out at the moment? Copa is an outdoor guy, I imagine his current seed run is just wrapping up now. DCSE may need to re-up?
I spent like $225 for 3 different packs, 1 each from different breeders, got 3 different "freebie" packs, and a free...
When I trimmed and dried my friends crop a few weeks ago, the 2 Bruce Banner Autos he had looked way worse than yours. His were foxtails of calyx's all over the entire plant, no real good buds. I'd say with your BB Auto's you lucked out and at least got something that resembled a bud.
If your anywhere North of Bad Axe, or up to Port Austin, it gets COLD during the winter, getting hit 2 fold off the Bay and Lake Huron. I can easily see why it takes 8 or more cord to get you thru the winter.
You need to find someone up that way to trade wood for weed.
I'm 50 miles south of...
I'm just going to let it go and run the course, I'm in trim jail right now, and will be for a while. Pistachio is down, Squirt will be finished tonight after work. Then it's onto Bigfoot glue or Blueberry Muffin, whichever is closer to being done.
Really digging the scent of Squirt, hopefully it...
I usually grow way more than I can smoke in a year. Mostly make bubble hash and put it away. Just broke out a temple ball from last years run, and tastes amazing. My brother, niece, and a couple friends live up north, and I keep them stocked thru the year, prices down state at dispensaries is...
Haven't tried any yet, the couple of guys I gave clones to, said it's real good.
My Pistachio turned out nice, got a total of 13-1 gallon bags. Have about 8 ounces coming out of the Cannatrol on Thursday.
Almost done harvesting Squirt, it has a very pungent grapefruit scent, and some of the...
I personally would definitely "over spec" a unit for your grow. Humidity in Thailand is unlike anything I've experienced elsewhere. I did a deployment at the air base in Korat, in the mid 80's and its the 1st and only time I've experienced "Prickly Heat" and it wasn't fun, found out quickly what...
Personally, if I was given those only 2 options, I would opt for the sunplus, only reasoning is that the UV & IR are adjustable. Plants aren't going to notice a difference between an lm301h and an lm281b diode, but will notice a difference between adjustable UV & IR and non adjustable.
Started last night, slapped the jobsite radio onto IHeart Radio Five Finger Death Punch channel and away we went for about 4 hours. Step kids are learning what trim jail is, told them get used to it, we have quite a few long nights ahead of us.
Anyone growing Humboldt Dream that's late to the party??? My Pistachio is probably 2 weeks out, and the Dream has just started to show buds, it started flowering 2 weeks ago, but man is it slow. Will have Pistachio, Squirt, Bigfoot Glue, and Blueberry Muffin out before this damn monster is even...
They are a very resilient plant, will just take a little time to turn around. I received a couple re-vegged clones last year, and they were a pain to deal with for me, where there was a bud, it exploded into about 50 branches.
If it's something you really want to keep around, if it branches out...
Very minimal, the only smelll is from the water in the evap tray. I've got mine set up in the living room, and let me tell ya, if the wife could smell it, I would surely know about it.
I haven't heard it from anyone, just taking a guess. I've had freeze dried food before, and it was pretty crispy.
I don't figure that bud would be much different, because it's going thru the same process, but I'm just speculating.
I just can't justify spending that much money on a freeze...
Yes sir!!!! From the trimmer, to the tray, and hit start, close the door. After the 1st day, put the damp sponge cup in, check it every couple days, and empty the condensation tray.
That’s pretty much it, then 8 days later, jar it up.
